This sitcom is about a Chicago couple who move into their very own studio apartment together. Eric Balfour plays Kevin Harrison, a well-known hairdresser who is straighter than an arrow. Olivia Wilde plays Tori Bancroft, a recent high school graduate who left her socialite family for Kevin. Kevin's and Tori's families are dead against them dating each other, mostly due to their age difference and their different social classes. The 27-year-old Kevin comes from a hardworking, blue-collared family, as where the soon-to-be 19-year-old Tori comes from a wealthy, white-collared family. Despite their families's dislike for each other and the 8 year age difference, Kevin and Tori are (or think they are) in love with each other, as they buy and move into their own apartment. Kevin's best friend, Marcus Davis(Marques Houston) is always hanging out with the happy couple. Marcus, like Tori, is currently unemployed yet looking for "the perfect job". Tori's best friend, Alyssa Martin (Allison Munn) is just like Marcus, always hanging around the apartment, and comes from a family of wealth just like Tori did. Kevin and Tori experience how two different people from different backgrounds and different lifestyles can cause conflict at times, as they go through the trials and tribulations of living together in Chicago.
