JUDD HIRSCH "HAIL THE CAB ONCE MORE..."

1- "John Wants A Favor."- Cabbie John Burns returns to ask Alex a favor. He needs some of his blood or he might die.

2- "Alex Thinks It Over."- Alex ponders about John's shocking question.

3- "Clothe the Naked, Feed the Poor... (1)."- Louie, out of the goodness of his heart (yes he really does have one, lol), takes in a poor man.

4- "Clothe the Naked, Feed the Poor... (2)."- Alex finds himself fortunate to just be the way he is today and not like the poor man, so he decides to answer yes to John's question about him giving blood to John so he can survive. (Alex was the only cabbie with the same blood as John, so he was basically the 1st, and last hope anyway, to add to the pressure of his answer, which turned out positive.)

5- "Elaine's Artwork."- Louie purchases, for two-thousand dollars, "Dogs Playing Poker.", which in his eyes is as great, if not better, work as Michelangelo's David or The Mona Lisa.

6- "Jim's New Image."- Reverend Jim decides to turn over a new leaf and become "hip" with a whole new wardrobe and appearance!

7- "Latka's Trip Around The World."- Chaos forces Latka to make 46 different connection flights all around the globe.

8- "Louie's Mother-In-Law."- Louie announces his engagement to Zena, which her mother is not too thrilled about.

9- "Alex Flunks A Test."- Cabbie Alex is bothered over one old test grade from high school that resurfaces.

10- "Bobby's Return."- Bobby asks for his old job back after a long, unsuccessful attempt to find a lucrative acting career.

11- "Reverend Jim Rejoins The Church."- Jim considers rejoining the Church as a priest.

12- "Alex The Job Hunter."- Alex is roped into finding work for his nephew who has just arrived in New York from Chicago.

13- "Love and the Cab Driver."- Alex finds his dream woman in a passenger named Christine.

14- "Louie's Former Life."- Drunken Louie reveals to Alex that he once held a lucrative job on Wall Street.

15- "The Boat."- Elaine learns of an art exhibition that is going to be held on a yacht where only the most elite artists will attend. Her dream of being invited comes true; but there's only one little snag. She suffers from sea sickness.

16- "Latka the Recruit."- Alex helps Latka out of a marital spat and into the army!

17- "Mixed Wires."- Misunderstandings lead Alex to believe that Elaine has the hots for him.

18- "Pope Iggy I."- Jim decides he wants to quit being a minister and move up the ladder: to Papal position!

19- "Tony and the Godfather."- Tony's rich uncle dies; his mourning is short-lived when he learns that he is receiving only a small portion of the old man's inheritance.

21- "The Gorilla."- A rabid animal is loose in the city thanks to part time zoo keeper Jim.

22- "The Beginning of the End."- Elaine and Alex mull a serious relationship with one another.

Season Two-

1- "Just Good Friends."- Alex and Elaine, after two months as boyfriend and girlfriend, decide they are more compatible as "just friends."

2- "Doctor In The House."- Tony's friend Brian, a doctor, tells him he may have to have his appendix out after Tony tells Brian he hasn't been feeling too good the past couple of weeks.

3 and 4- "The Baby."- Simka breaks the news to Latka that he is going to be a father! An hour-long episode.

5- "Baby Toys."- Simka buys some baby toys for her soon-to-be-born child; Latka thinks they are his birthday present (and he likes them)!

6- "Reverend Jim- An Earth Odyssey."- Iggy's life is changed after seeing 2001: A Space Odyssey for the first time. He decides he wants to become a NASA astronaut!

7- "It's A Sunshine Day."- Sunshine Cab Company's manager decides it's time for some publicity: the gang shoots a commercial for the local TV station, with disastrous results!

8- "It's Art."- An undiscovered artist gets his chance via Elaine's boyfriend's friend.

9- "Second Hand."- Louie's valuables are worth an astonishing amount of money.

10- "The Ukelele."- Latka and Jim sell ukeleles, thinking New York is going through a music Renaissance.

11- "Jim's IQ."- The cabbies are baffled when Alex's high IQ scores are meek in comparison to Reverend Jim's, of all people!

12- "Baldness."- Louie deals with baldness in a totally new fashion when the cabbies start making quips.

13- "Monkey Business."- A designer (George Wendt) wants to re-do Jim's apartment.

14- "Putting on the Finish."- Norm (Wendt) finishes up quickly with Jim's place when he's called back to Boston.

15- "The Tonsillectomy."- Alex has to have his tonsils removed.

16- "I See."- Bobby makes friends with a man, and doesn't even realize his blindness.

17- "Just Like Walking On Air."- Alex helps an old lady onto her first airplane flight, when he sees her with a blank look on her face. He later learns that she was covering up for her Alzheimers.

18- "Motherload."- Louie wants to set a date with his new girlfriend, but mulls it over when he meets her demanding mother.

19 and 20- "Alex's Move."- Alex's dream offer of a real job surfaces, forcing him to contemplate on whether or not to leave Sunshine Cab.

Season Three with Danny DeVito, Jeff Conaway, Christopher Lloyd, Andy Kaufman, Tony Danza, Marilu Henner and starring Judd Hirsch.


1- "Life Without Alex."- The cabbies barely make it through the day alive with Louie without Alex; Latka's sleep remedy doesn't cure him of insomnia, it just makes him worse off.

2- "The Photoplay."- A theatre arts class instructor has eyes for Elaine; Alex's new exhibit at the museum he works at has its grand opening and an embarassing photo of him pinned to the wall, enlarged 500 times.

3- "Iggy and the Man."- Jim goes into business with a shady character and finds himself as a middleman between a gangster and an "associate".

4- "Rated R."- Elaine has to contend with her 14 year old son who's had his first exposure to a dirty magazine.

5- "The Silver Girls."- Alex is fired from his job and takes a job with a catering firm that is currently catering an over-60 group affair... a REAL affair.

6- "Signs."- Jim's convinced that aliens are leaving him messages on his answering machine; Tony asks Bobby to watch his gigantic watchdog while he's away for the weekend.

7- "Louie Is In Trouble."- Mr. Mackenzie comes to Louie informing him of an upcoming audit of the company, and Louie still has some "unfinished business" to take care of.

8- "Alex's Night Off."- Alex's quest for another dream job takes its toll and he decides to just settle for what he had before.

9- "The Buddy Systems."- Alex's first night back at the cab company sees warm greetings and more insincere welcomes; he breaks the ice by throwing a cocktail party, at which Elaine throws herself at Alex.

10- "Hangover (1)."- Alex and Elaine's relationship suffers when they both realize their mistakes of taking advantage of one another.

11- "Hangover (2)."- Elaine and Alex attempt rekindling a romance, just to see if any sparks really exist between the two.

12- "The Crazy Invention."- Jim's crazy invention, one that makes drinking beer more convenient, may get a patent.

13- "The Moneymakers."- Louie's investment with shady characters draw suspicions on the parts of Alex and the other cabbies.

14- "Game Show."- Louie attempts to become a contestant on "Password."

15- "Elaine and the Gentleman Caller."- Elaine is convinced that she has fallen in love through a dating service, so she decides to meet up with the guy she talked with on the phone--- big mistake.

16- "Sorry, Right, No Wrong, No Maybe Right Number."- Louie is over-anxious to get back with Zena (Perlman).

17- "Zena, Warrior Princess."- Zena's treating Louie like a whipping boy troubles the love-stricken man.

18- "Latka Needs A New Pair of Shoes."- The cabbies bowl for fun at the local alley, unaware it is a mobster hangout; Latka tries to get a new visa.

19- "Hurricane Cabbie."- Alex rebels against him being the only cabbie without a real job.

20- "Demoted (1)."- Alex's trash talk to the big boss, who is even Louie's authority, gets him in trouble and demoted.

21- "Demoted (2)."- Elaine works extra hours at both of her jobs to help out a poverty stricken Alex, who is now working at minimum wage, only enough to feed him for breakfast three times a week.

22- "Happy Day."- Alex is promoted after the big boss recognizes his pain when Louie helps him remember a hard time of his own.

23 and 24- "Did It Really Happen?"- Elaine succumbs to too much alcohol at a celebration party for Alex, as does the guest of honor; the next day, they realize that Alex took Elaine home.

Season Four

Starring Judd Hirsch, Danny DeVito, Marilu Henner, Tony Danza, Jeff Conaway, and Christopher Lloyd.

1- "Latka Says His Goodbyes."- Latka's time in the US is up... and there's no way to fight it. As he says his goodbyes, fond memories are recalled from all the years the gang has spent with him; Elaine and Alex, sober, remember what happened the night before: absolutely nothing but a friendly goodnight kiss.


2- "Alex's Roommate."- Alex, running low on cash, takes in a roommate: Reverend Jim, a big mistake, thinks the cabbies. But are they wrong? Alex thinks so when Jim turns out to be the perfect roommate: he cooks, cleans, and is respectful: what more can Alex ask for? One problem: Jim misunderstood the fact that Alex wants him to PAY for his room and board.
