I could always tell seasons 8 and 9 apart from all seasons prior to them,by one minor thing that stands out.The red rose wallpaper on the livingroom wall of the Bunker home,which Edith had put up after the house caught fire towards the end of season 7.(Which I find makes the those walls more attractive)You could tell season 9 apart from the rest of the series,of course,Stephanie and no Stivics.But you could tell an episode from season 8,or the last few episodes from season 7,by the new livingroom wallpaper.
