Ep164: So Long, Bonnie Jean:
Julia, Mary Jo, Carlene, and Anthony are overjoyed to get Sugarbakers back. But when Julia and the gang learn that B.J. is turning away some potential clients solely-based upon their financial status, Julia especially is about to blow the top-resulting in her and B.J. having a big fight. Out of spite, B.J. quits from Sugarbakers and Associates. The four friends are faced with a dilemma, and are in need of some help. Meanwhile, after hearing about B.J. quitting, Etienne decides to make some phone calls (to Charlene, Suzanne, and Allison).
Ep165: The Surprising News:
Etienne and Anthony go out and celebrate their first wedding anniversary, by going out to a fancy restaurant with Julia, Mary Jo, and Carlene. Which is where, Etienne drops the news of her calling Charlene, Allison, and Suzanne back to Sugarbakers for a little help. The three gals and Anthony are estatic and thrilled to death. They all decide to plan one big welcome-back party for the three ladies.
Ep166: Welcome Back Y'all:
Charlene, Suzanne, and Allison all arrive on the same day, just in time for their party. Anthony and the now-seven ladies (including Etienne) catch up on old-times, along with tons of teary eyes and hugs in tow.
((JEAN SMART, DELTA BURKE, and JULIA DUFFY are now addicted back into the cast of characters)) -it was mentioned that Charlene arrived and in a few days later, Bill and Olivia will arrive after her flight-
Ep167: Back Together:
Julia, Suzanne, Carlene, and Allison attempt to get all re-arranged and situated. Charlene becomes anxiously awaiting the arrival of Bill (Douglas Barr) and Olivia (Emily Mae Young), with Mary Jo and Anthony by her side. After getting able to carry 4-year-old Olivia, Anthony can't help but think he wants to become a father someday in the near future.
Ep168: Adding On:
Anthony informs Etienne about his wanting to become a father. Etienne agrees she would like to have a few children as well. The couple decide to plan a romantic getaway-where they can have conception. Meanwhile, Suzanne and Allison have different ideas for a client who wants to add on to their house.
Ep169: Life's Little Treasures:
Carlene goes out to eat with Charlene, Bill, and Olivia--where she learns she wants to a family like her big sister has. Carlene decides to hide her jealousy by trying to pretend she is loving the single life (now after her divorce from Dwayne). Meanwhile, Julia and Suzanne learns about Mary Jo and J.D. (Richard Gilliland) going out once again, after J.D. has moved back to Atlanta to be with Mary Jo.
Ep170: Whom Is Better?:
Julia is stuck in a silly-and-childish game of "whom is better" between Suzanne and Allison-who are at it again, competing with each other like they have always have. Also, Mary Jo is angered by her ex, Ted (Scott Bakula)-who just found out about her and J.D.'s dating again. Ted wants Mary Jo to dump J.D. and to come back to Ted, who claims he has changed.

Ep171: Couldn't Be Better:
Julia is elated that she is going to be spending her birthday with her friends-including Suzanne. Julia tells Suzanne she was truly missed while she was in Japan. Charlene, Carlene, and Mary Jo ponder if they should let Allison sign her name onto their card and gift, after Allison simply forgets to get Julia anything. The three ladies enjoy watching Allison beg and plead, and eventually give in and let her sign the card and gift.
Ep172: White Flour and Brown Sugar:
One of the ladies's clients recognizes Etienne, as she is visiting the ladies and Anthony at work one day. The male client announces that she and Etienne slept together in the past. Etienne doesn't remember him though, as Anthony is getting angered by everyone bringing up the topic of Etienne sleeping with another man over and over. Carlene gets an idea, gives her ex-Dwayne Dobber a phone call, and asks him to fly out to Atlanta-because wants to ask him something in person.
Ep173: Babies All Around:
Etienne tells Anthony that she is pregnant, they are estatic, and tell the girls their new news. Meanwhile, Carlene asks Dwayne if he would get her pregnant (he wouldn't have to be a part of their life, but just a sperm donor). Dwayne reluctantly gives in to his ex-wife. Carlene happily drags Dwayne down to get her artificially inseminated immediately. Also, Charlene and Bill fret when Olivia gets the chicken pox.
Ep174: Mary Jo's Daughter:
Mary Jo and the ladies learn Claudia is engaged and is getting married in a few weeks. Mary Jo is happier than anything and can't wait to plan the wedding. Julia, Suzanne, Allison, and Charlene learn about Carlene being artificially inseminated, and now she's pregnant. Allison, Julia, and Suzanne are happy for Carlene and willing to be supportive, as Charlene thinks her sister is nuts for wanting to be a single parent.
Ep175: The Wedding:
It's Claudia's wedding. The mother of the bride, Mary Jo, can't believe how much her little girl has grown. During the reception, Carlene and Charlene forbid to talk to each other and refuse to let Julia intervene; Etienne and Anthony strike-up the dance floor like dancing professionals; Allison meets a guy, they hit it off, and arrange for a second date--yet this man Allison is attracted to happens be--TED SHIVELY (Mary Jo's ex).

Ep176: Suzanne and Dash:
Suzanne gets a surprise visit from her ex-husband and old flame, Dash Goff (Gerald McRaney)-who wants Suzanne to take him back. Suzanne immediately falls for Dash. The two go out to eat, where they bump into Anthony, Etienne, Bill, and Charlene (who are on a double date)--which turns into a triple date. Meanwhile, Allison and Ted Shively's dating becomes more and more, Julia learns Allison and Ted are dating, and feels she must inform Mary Jo-who doesn't believe Allison would stoop THAT low.
Ep177 and Ep178: Coming To Terms: (Two-Part Episode)
Charlene and Carlene make up, Charlene tells her sister she will be there for her, helping her when the baby comes. Mary Jo confronts Allison about her dating Ted. Allison announces she and Ted are engaged and Mary Jo can't do anything to change that. Mary Jo is stunned that Ted and Allison are going to get married. Suzanne is asked to be the godmother of Anthony and Etienne's unborn baby, she is elated and accepts graciously. Julia overhears Bill talking on the phone about him having to be restationed once again in a few days, Julia consoles an upset Charlene. Meanwhile, J.D. doubts Mary Jo is over Ted, after seeing how upset she is at Ted remarrying. Also, Dash slightly backs off after Suzanne comments about being a to-be godmother, and how someday (yes,someday) she can't wait to become a mother. Dwayne Dobber makes a surprise visit and wants to be back in Carlene and the baby's lives.
Ep179: Bon Voyage, Bill:
Charlene and Olivia are accompanied by Carlene and Julia as Bill leaves for the Military once again. Carlene, turns down Dwayne's proposal to be back into her and the baby's lives. Mary Jo copes with Ted and Allison's engagement, and J.D. questioning if Mary Jo is truly over Ted. Mary Jo is consoled by her son, Quint (Brian Lando). Suzanne tells Dash she herself isn't ready for having a child-for a couple years.
Ep180: Return of BJ:
BJ Poteet returns with an overdue apology to Julia, Anthony, Carlene, and Mary Jo. They accept, yet turn down BJ's proposal to become partner again. Etienne feels torn when Mary Jo catches her bridal gown shopping with Allison. Charlene wishes Bill was still at home, as she is getting sick of "being like a single parent who happens to be married". Meanwhile, Suzanne gets a devastating call from Japan-her and Julia's mom,Perky has died in her sleep.
Ep181: The Funeral In Japan:
Julia, Suzanne, Allison, Anthony, and Bernice (Alice Ghostley) fly out to Japan to attend Perky's funeral, as Charlene, Carlene, and Mary Jo stay back in Atlanta to run Sugarbakers, along with Etienne . Julia and Suzanne learn that Bernice now has lost the will to live after her longtime best friend (perky) has died. The Sugarbaker sisters work together and try to talk more sense into Bernice. Meanwhile, Etienne gets an unwanted phone call from Allison's new fiancee/Mary Jo's ex, Ted. Ted had asked Etienne out for drinks, she declined-out of respect for Anthony, Mary Jo, and Allison-whom she feels she must inform.
Ep182: Terrible Ted:
Etienne has a talk with Anthony, Mary Jo, and Allison about Ted's phone call to her. Anthony is furious that his wife had been harrassed like that. Mary Jo laughs as she realizes Ted is Ted and hadn't changed one bit. A stunned Allison is floored and quickly hides her pain by disbelieving Etienne. Etienne and Mary Jo pull Allison aside and tell her that Ted did hit on Etienne and isn't going to change and will eventually cheat on her (if they married, like he did when he and Mary Jo was married). Allison gets up the nerves, with an unlikely friend (Mary Jo) by her side, as they tell Ted off for good-ending their engagement.

Ep183: Forgiving Friends:
Mary Jo and Allison forgive each other about the whole Ted ordeal, causing Mary Jo to run back to J.D. to tell him she loves him and is for sure over Ted. J.D., this time, believes her and takes her back. Etienne and Anthony learn they are having twin boys. Julia and Suzanne get the nerve to go visit their half-brother, Clayton-whom never showed/called for Perky's funeral. Clayton's excuse was he forgot, causing Suzanne (more than Julia for once) to be irate with Clayton.
Ep184: Sisters Vs. Sisters:
Charlene and Carlene battle Suzanne and Julia is a sisterly game of Trival Pursuit-causing a few agruments along the way. Mary Jo is startled by the fact that Claudia and her newlywed husband are getting separated, after Claudia (yes,Claudia) cheated on her new hubby. Mary Jo is appalled and sides with her new son-in-law, yet gets mixed-feelings when he wants to file for divorce.
Ep185: Double Engagement:
J.D. and Mary Jo get engaged the same night as Suzanne and Dash do. Julia, Charlene, Carlene, Allison, and the Bouviers are thrilled to death. Carlene feels odd and goes to see her doctor with Charlene in tow. Carlene (and Charlene) learn that she lost her baby, due to her appendix being close to erupting. Carlene must have surgery on her appendix. Charlene feels for her sister, and realizes she needs back-up for support-she enlists Anthony's help.
Ep186: Deep Depression:
Carlene returns home from the hospital, and has fallen into a deep depression (due to the miscarriage). Charlene and Anthony explain Carlene's miscarriage, appendix surgery, and depression to Julia, Mary Jo, Suzanne, Allison, and Etienne-who are very sorry to hear the news. Allison secretly goes and has a talk with Carlene, where she reveals a deep, dark secret of hers-which was about-when she was 19, she got pregnant, miscarriaged, kept it a secret from everyone (even Julia/Suzanne)-Carlene was first to know, and the reason why she acts the way she does was all caused by her miscarriage. Carlene shares her own dark secret (that not even Charlene was told) that either during surgery or during the process of losing the unborn baby, something happened that now is causing her to never become pregnant again. Allison and Carlene console each other.
Ep187: Summer Is Here: (Season 8 Finale)
Allison and Carlene head to New York to spend their summer vacationing there. Mary Jo, Charlene, Olivia, Anthony, and 6 month pregnant Etienne head to Disney Land for a week. Julia realizes Suzanne is hiding something lately. Suzanne confesses that she broke off the engagement to Dash due to the fact, she doesn't want to become a wife all over again. Julia realizes once again that her sister still isn't telling the whole truth. Suzanne confides in her big sister that she is secretly pregnant (with Dash's child), yet doesn't want Dash to know because he won't want to be a father. So she figures she'd rather hurt him first, before she gets hurt by him leaving her pregnant. Julia is there for Suzanne, yet thinks Dash has a right to know she is pregnant and Julia offers support when she tells Dash. Suzanne and Julia share a teary-eyed, sisterly-bonding hug (as the rest of the gang left for their summer vacations.)

Ep188: Fall Again:
Julia, Mary Jo, Suzanne, Charlene, Anthony, and Etienne await the arrival of Allison and Carlene, who are suppose to come back from New York. They get a surprise when only Allison exits the plane. Allison announces that Carlene refused to leave New York-after claiming she has found "the perfect man". The women and Anthony are up in arms at Allison's announcement from Carlene. Immediately, Charlene, Anthony, and Allison board the next flight back to New York to talk some sense into Carlene (Charlene leaves Olivia with Mary Jo and J.D.).
Ep189: Birthday Blunders:
It's Suzanne's 36th birthday, she secretly feels she will be an "old mom" to her unborn (and still secret) child. Meanwhile, Etienne's water breaks and is rushed to the hospital by Mary Jo and J.D. Julia and Suzanne get the call and arrive soon after. Etienne wants Anthony to arrive home in time, causing Julia, Mary Jo, and Suzanne calling Charlene, Allison, Anthony, and Carlene-who are on their way back home (after having convinced Carlene-she can't latch onto a married man-who claims he will leave his wife for her.)
Ep190: The Birth:
The gang is reunited, Anthony gets to be with Etienne as she gives birth to the twins (seconds before it all starts). Anthony and Etienne have twin boys: Michael and Daniel Bouvier. Meanwhile, Suzanne (whos experiencing morning-sickness) is befriended by a former Sugarbaker partner, BJ Poteet (who has reluctantly taken up a job as a cleaning lady for the hospital. Suzanne (who has just met BJ) introduces her to the ladies (except Charlene and Allison) who realize Suzanne's new friend is none-other than BJ (JUDITH IVEY). BJ immediately realizes Suzanne and Julia are sisters and goes on an apology-streak as she tries to make amends once again with her alienated friends.
Ep191: New Friend, Old Partner:
Mary Jo, Carlene, Allison, Charlene, and Suzanne think Julia should let B.J. become a partner again. After seeing how Suzanne has actually made a true friend (besides Charlene and Mary Jo), Julia lets BJ return. Bj and the girls are overjoyed. Meanwhile, Anthony and Etienne have a hard time telling the twins apart, and struggle with the decision of who will be the godmothers of their boys. Also, (at the very end of the episode) Suzanne arranges a dinner for her and Dash, where she will tell him of her pregnancy. Yet Mary Jo and Charlene overhear the conversation and are anxious to find out what Suzanne has to tell Dash that is "so important".

Ep192: Choosing Best Two:
Anthony and Etienne choose Mary Jo and Julia to be the godmothers for their twin sons. Charlene, Carlene, Allison, Suzanne, and BJ are secretly hurt that they weren't chosen. Meanwhile, Suzanne and Dash go out to eat, where Suzanne drops the bomb to him. Dash surprises Suzanne by saying he wants to be involved in her and the baby's life. Suzanne is stunned and shocked yet the truth comes out (that she doesn't want him to be in their lives), so she decides to pay him off-one problem-he won't accept the check. Yet Dash decides to just exit their lives but leaves Suzanne the blank check (that she gave him).
Ep193: Telling My Friends:
Suzanne informs Mary Jo, Charlene, Carlene, BJ, Allison, and the Bouviers about her pregnancy. They are unsure of how to react, because they don't know how Suzanne feels about it. Meanwhile, Julia receives a phone call from Dash-who mentions his true feelings about Suzanne not wanting him in their lives. Julia, the ladies, and Anthony are told Dash wanted nothing to do with them. Julia learns firsthand it was vice versa and decides she must have a little sisterly talk with Suzanne. Meanwhile, Charlene gets a letter from Bill, whos away, staying he has to stay longer than expected-causing Charlene to be furious.
Ep194: Home To Vegas:
Etienne, Anthony, and the twins head to Vegas-to meet up with Etienne's family. Yet the Bouviers are accompanied to Vegas by Allison, Carlene, and BJ who want to escape for the weekend to have a little fun. The three ladies learn they make a great trio of good luck. Meanwhile, Julia tells Charlene and Mary Jo about Suzanne wanting Dash to stay away-causing them to have a intervention for 4 months pregnant Suzanne, who is still just as stubborn.
Ep195: Daddy?:
Charlene's heart breaks into pieces when Olivia asks "Do I have a Daddy?" in front of Carlene, Julia, and herself (Charlene). Charlene gets the courage to write her MIA husband a heartfelt letter giving him a choose: military or family. Meanwhile, Suzanne and Allison are left to watch over the Bouvier twins for a few hours, as Anthony and Etienne decide to go catch up on some sleep for a few hours in the afternoon. The Sugarbaker cousins learn the everyday troubles of taking care of a day (all in a couple hours), making Suzanne question her own parenting skills and abilities.
Ep196: Singles Bar Drama:
Allison, BJ, Carlene, Suzanne, and a reluctant Julia all go to a singles bar to meet guys. Suzanne has a hard time seeing her friends have alcoholic drinks as she can't (due to her pregnancy). BJ and the women try to get hunky men to flirt with Julia, who claims she is too old to attend a singles bar. Meanwhile, Mary Jo and J.D. start to plan their upcoming wedding, as Charlene and Olivia spend the evening with the Bouvier family-where Charlene asks Anthony if he will be her lawyer as she plans to file for divorce from Bill.
Ep197: To The Extreme:
Anthony and the ladies think Charlene filing for divorce is a bit extreme. Mary Jo, Carlene, and Suzanne (all divorcees) decide to get together and talk with Charlene about divorces. Julia and BJ learn they are dating the same man at the same time. So Julia and BJ decide to play mindgames with this two-timing man, resulting in the man finding out the girls are in on it together. Charlene decides against filing for divorce yet still has her hostility against her MIA hubby.
Ep198: The Bachelorette Party:
As Anthony and 17-year-old Quint is attending J.D.'s bachelor party- where the stripper turns out to be coming down with the flu yet insists on performing still, Mary Jo along with Julia, Claudia, Charlene, Suzanne, BJ, Carlene, Allison, and Etienne are having her bachelorette party at Sugarbakers. They hire a stripper and he turns out to the same one they hired for Julia's birthday few years ago. The girls have a blast at the party.
Ep199: The Aftermath:
The women are experiencing horrible hangovers and must deal with a new, powerful client, Rick Hawkins (Patrick Duffy). BJ falls head over heels for Rick, and decides to ask him out on a date--causing Julia and Allison to think she will ruin their chances of having Rick have Sugarbakers work for him. Rick and BJ go out on a date together-have a great time together, and schedule a second date. Meanwhile, Suzanne asks Julia to accompany her to her doctor's visit-where she learns Suzanne is having a daughter.
Ep200: Shively-Shackleford Wedding:
It is Mary Jo and J.D.'s wedding day. Claudia is the maid of honor. Charlene, Julia, and Suzanne are bridesmaids. Anthony and Quint are groomsmen. Allison, BJ, Carlene, and Etienne are okay with not being in bridal party. Everything is fine, until Ted (Scott Bakula) and his date (Rachel Hunter) show up at the reception. YET Mary Jo doesn't let Ted's appearance bother her. Meanwhile, Charlene decides she needs to talk face to face with Bill (who's stationed in England). Suzanne once again has troubles passing up free alcohol due to her unborn daughter.

Ep201: Honeymooners:
J.D. and Mary Jo head to Barbados for their honeymoon, as Charlene leaves Olivia with Julia and Suzanne-before she heads off to England to talk to Bill in person. Meanwhile, Anthony and Etienne realize the twins are more work as they grow (up) than they once thought. Plus, Suzanne explains she is having a baby to little Olivia.
Ep202: Double Dating Disasters:
BJ begs Anthony and Etienne to join her and Rick (Patrick Duffy) on a double date, but during the date-they discover the conversation is a bit lacking--until the couples spot Carlene and Allison drinking at the bar. The two "half-in-the-bag" women break the awkward silence by letting the alcohol do the talking. Meanwhile, Julia receives a call from Charlene (in England)-who informs her about Bill's refusal to leave the military and come home with her.
Ep203: Daisy and Rose:
During an event at Fashion Expo '95, Carlene, Suzanne, and Allison are forced to put up with the uber-rich and annoyingly snotty interior decoraters: Daisy (Sharon Lawrence) and Rose (Lee Garlington)-as they are unfortunely stuck temporarily in the elevator over night. The Sugarbakers gals have had enough of the two snobs and are about to let them have it-Just as the elevator continues working thankfully. Meanwhile in England, Charlene and Bill are at their wits-end with each other and both are tempted to call quits to their long-distance marriage. Meanwhile, the Shacklefords return from Barbados-with gifts in tow.
Ep204: The Georgia Son:
Julia learns her son, Payne is paying a visit. Julia oversees Payne going through some paperwork of Sugarbakers. Payne informs Julia that she should consider branching Sugarbakers out, due to their success and popularity all of a sudden. Julia, the women, and Anthony ponder about Payne's advice about expanding and branching out-causing Allison to come up with the idea of "Sugarbakers and Associates:The New York Division".

Ep205: The New York Division:
Allison offers to go back to New York and start up a Sugarbakers back in New York. Julia feels Allison may have what it takes to run a Sugarbakers branch out in New York. But Julia refuses on making a decision all by herself and is waiting for Charlene to arrive home from England to take a vote. Meanwhile, Suzanne is beginning to grow fonder to Olivia, which is preparing her for her own child.
Ep206: Unhappy London Lady:
Charlene is starting to feel Bill and herself have lost the "magic spark" in their marriage, due to the long-distance which is putting a big stain on the marriage. Bill and Charlene decide to set aside one weekend to decide what is their next step, which makes Charlene happy-thinking Bill may be coming home with her. Yet once again, Bill makes his point clear that he is not leaving the military just yet-upsetting Charlene enough to announce that she wants a divorce (as she storms out with her luggage). Meanwhile, Mary Jo and J.D. decide they are getting "too old" to even think of conceiving their own child, after seeing Suzanne's recent ultrasound photo.
Ep207: Home Sweet Home:
A truly-unhappy Charlene arrives back in Atlanta, shortly after her arrival she announces she and Bill are getting a divorce. Meanwhile, Charlene and Olivia are estatic to see each other again, causing Suzanne to miss the "special bond" between her and Olivia. Julia, Mary Jo, and Carlene sit Charlene down and talk about what happened in England.
Ep208: Informing, Voting, Deciding:
The women and Anthony inform Charlene about the branching-out option, they all take a vote and agree that branching-out is fine in each's eyes. Julia is named the "boss lady" of Georgia Division, and Allison is named the "boss lady" of New York Division. Allison begs Carlene, B.J., and Etienne to help her out in the New York Division, as Suzanne, Charlene, and Mary Jo stay with Julia in the Georgia Division. Anthony feels torn between both divisions, but decides to go with his wife and sons to New York (with Allison, Carlene, and BJ).
Ep209: Torn Sisters:
Charlene and Carlene feel their relationship had grown stronger (since Charlene arrived back last year) and now they are having to separating-it is going to impact the relationship greatly, which reminds Charlene of her and Bill's long-distance marriage as well. Mary Jo kindly suggests that Charlene should take a couple weeks off to tend to herself and Olivia, and kindly recommends her to see a therapist to help her through this bad time. Meanwhile, BJ tells Rick about her moving to New York and how it will affect their relationship, Rick informs her that he will relocate to be with her--which makes BJ feel like a princess.
Ep210: Distances:
Allison and Carlene fly out to New York and scout out an office to rent (for Sugarbakers). They have trouble looking for a place to rent, then fly home unhappily. Meanwhile, Charlene attends her first therapy session with Dr. Teri Gaines (Teri Garr)-who happens to have alot in common with Charlene and her background. Also, Suzanne pleads Anthony not to leave her and Georgia--causing Etienne to become jealous and believe Suzanne has strong feelings for "her Tony" and jumps to the false conclusion of Anthony fathering Suzanne's baby.
Ep211: Bad News, Girls:
Allison and Carlene inform the girls and Anthony that their plans of relocating is not possible at the moment. Julia informs the girls that the idea of branching out isn't all that great as they once thought-due to straining the women's friendships and closenesses. The eight women and Anthony all finally agree on staying here in Atlanta's Sugarbakers. Meanwhile, Etienne (who remains hostile towards Suzanne and Anthony) makes announcement of becoming a stay-at-home, which is fine with Anthony and the women.
Ep212: Back To Normal:
The gang returns back to their normal lifestyles. Charlene is progressing well thanks to Dr. Gaines, and tries to remain intact, when she receives a copy of the divorce papers signed by Bill (all is left is for her to sign). With help from Dr. Gaines, Carlene, and Mary Jo, Charlene has trouble signing her name and learns Bill accepts getting a divorce. Meanwhile, Suzanne and Anthony (with help from Julia and Allison) set Etienne straight about the two strictly-platonic friends. Meanwhile, BJ must tell Rick of her cancelled plans of moving to NY, before he decides to relocate.
