When September Ends by Green Day

Anyone else really love this song? It's very touching and beautifully written. I also really love the video. Many people I know like Boulevard of Broken Dreams best out of their singles from their most recent album but I would have to say this one is definitely my favorite.

they've done this a lot in hip hop, the first time I've seen a rock video like that though. You could also count MJ's "Thriller" video.

I think it's so cool that the two biggest success stories of the year have been Green Day and Mariah Carey, it's like it's 1995 again. 50's album has sold the most this year but I think that was more anticipated. Neither Green Day or Mariah have been HUGE in about 9-10 years saleswise.

I just watched this online. I don't see what's so bad about it, other than the slightly long intro before the song starts and the interruption midway through the song. It's a good looking video and they made it topical. Plus, Billy Elliot is in it, how can you not like it?
