I just love Entenmann's Ultimate Crumb Cake. The top is loaded with a crust of crumbs, some as big quarters.

Edy's Whole Fruit Bars. You can taste the bits of fruit right in them. There's lime, strawberry or grape flavor.

Aquafresh Extreme Clean toothpaste. Empowermint flavor. What a mouthblast!

I had never heard of Nutella until someone brought it up here, then last week I saw a commerical for it on Canadian TV. Is that big there (meaning MI where yo are)? I have never heard of it here.

It's no secret that I know a thing or two about beverages.
Tonight I will sing the praise of a non alcoholic beverage for a change.

Glaceau's line of "Vitaminwater" drinks. They have a wide selection of flavors, all of which are heathy (vitamin enriched, hence the name) and taste great.

Try the "vital-t," and you may never pick up a Snapple again.

Coke Zero is a good product. Since Iv'e given up sugar, I started drinking this instead of regular coke, and once you get use to it, it's actually really good. Way better than diet coke. I also like Wizard Air Wicks. The vanilla smelling ones are the best, but the cinnammon ones run a close second. I agree with the person who mentioned Swiffer Sweepers. Whoever invented those, is a genius. They actually make mopping tolerable.

It's actually a European thing. You can find it here though in the peanut butter section. I don't believe it's any more popular here in MI than anywhere else in the US though. A few years back I was only able to find it in import stores.

An aero bar is a bar with a thick chocolate coating over an inner core of bubbly light chocolate , or mint choco, depending on which you buy and a Coffee Crisp is a wafer bar with lightly flavoured coffee cream between the wafers, then coated in VERY creamy chocolate....OMG its GOODDDDDDDD

I love Nesquick strawberry milk. Not the powder, the flavored milk. My husband likes Nesquick chocolate milk.

Swiffer Wet works great. I just put them on the Swiffer mop or whatever it's called. It cleans all floors. I have hardhood floors all over the house, and tile in the kitchen and bath, so I just keep going with them, putting a new one on every other room.

Pledge Multi-Surface cleaner is great. I dust my entire home with that one product. It cleans wood, glass, and electronics. No more switching products.

I think the ones you're thinking of are Ruffles "All Dressed" chips - and yep - they still sell them - they're the best!!!

We also have "Dill Pickle" flavour up here which I understand aren't availabe in the U.S.. It's really strange to me, because there's so many products you guys get that we don't - and you have the larger populus market for them too.

Eat More bars are another you can't get in the U.S., but frankly they're gross anyway - molasses bars with peanuts in them. Some people love them but I never have.

It's funny, I've never gotten used to the name "Nesquick" - to me, it'll always be Nestle's Quick"! I even saw the old ads for it again yesterday with that puppet dog singing the jingle. I think they changed the name around the time they brought in the animated pink rabbit.

I have the Swiffer and it is good for in between heavy duty washes - smells great too!

Have you tried the Mr. Clean eraser? That thing REALLY works! Gets the imprint of bread wrappers off the counter easier than bleach even and scuffs off the wainscotting like that. Almost scary to look at a product like it and wonder what's in it that it works so well! ;)

those are all good. in fact, we had shake and pour last night for dinner! now cooking challanged people like me can make edible pancakes!
Those Shake 'n Pour pancakes are good. I usually buy the buttermilk. I heat oil in the pan, and they cook so nice and golden brown with crispy edges. I sometimes add banana slices on top, before I flip it.

Those Perfect Portions biscuits are great. I always hated cooking a roll of biscuits (even the small roll of five) because I'd end up eating them all, lol. Now, I just cook two in the toaster oven. They're perfect for me and my husband. The best thing is that they taste exactly like the original ones.

The Bertolli frozen pasta meals are great. I'm making the chicken Alfredo one tonight. Here, they cost $7.99, but a couple of weeks ago, they were on sale for $5.99, and I had a $2.00 coupon. I got it for half price.

The Bertolli frozen pasta meals are great. I'm making the chicken Alfredo one tonight. Here, they cost $7.99, but a couple of weeks ago, they were on sale for $5.99, and I had a $2.00 coupon. I got it for half price.

How many bags does your mother cook for your family Cathy? I find that one bag is perfect for the two of us. I serve most of it to him though.

We usually buy two bags. One time she bought a shrimp one for her and dad and a chicken one for me because I don't like shrimp. It was too much for one person, but not enough for 3.

Okay, here's what you do. Take a cookie sheet and place the Perdue chicken on one half. On the other half, place frozen fries. Toss it in the oven, and you have yourself a delicious meal. I buy the Kraft dipping sauces too...sweet and sour, honey mustard, etc. The chicken is $6.99 a bag, but it's almost two pounds.

- Biolage shampoo/conditioner (OMFG, this stuff is HEAVEN. A lot of salons use it, so it's pretty damned effective. Makes my hair sooo soft the moment I rub it in and it smells like apples! My hair remains shiny and smooth the whole day!)

- Combos (These little cheese filled pretzel snacks are the BEST. I'm a fan of Nacho Cheese pretzel or the pizza flavored ones. YUM).

- Silk soy milk (for someone who gets an upset stomach from regular milk, I am so happy a product like this is out on the market--one that actually TASTES good. I usually get the plain flavor, but once in a while I'll pick up a vanilla. Chocolate is good, but a little too rich for me. It's a once in a while type treat).

- KFC Buffalo Chicken snackers (Whoever created this sandwich is a GOD to me, lol. They are tiny chicken sandwiches smothered in hot buffalo sauce and topped with lettuce. Simple, but oh so good).

Health and Beauty Stuff:

- MAC cosmetics...I'm seriously addicted to their make-up line right now, especially their eyeshadow pigments. Dampen a brush, dip it in to the pigment and you have the most vibrant shade ever! They seriously have every color imaginable (as well as neutrals).

- Lolita Lempicka perfume. Unique fragrance in a cute apple-shaped bottle. I love smelling different from everyone else!

Food/Drinks:

- Cheddar Cheese Chex Mix  A nice mixture of cheese flavored chex, pretzels, and cheez-its. Love 'em!

- Dunkin' Donuts Cooladas or smoothies--perfect for a hot day!

- Yogurt-covered granola bars....I forgot who puts them out (might be Nature Valley?) but these things are to die for. Chewy granola bars, one side drizzled in either strawberry or vanilla yogurt. Great breakfast if you're on the go.

I love the Mr. Clean Sponges - what's on those things anyway??!?! You can rinse it and reuse it until it falls apart but it still works!!

Also, Clinique's Deep Wrinkle Repair cream is great. Expensive, but cheaper than a facelift! ;)

I also love O.P.I. Skin Quencherr lotion (Cocoanut/Melon). Smells fantastic and really softens.

ANYTHING Quizno's makes! I try a different sub each time and haven't had a bad one yet. Good thing I don't work there - I'd weigh 400 lbs!

And best of all: Tim Horton's coffee - a Canadian staple that kicks Starbuck's butt (Starbuck's tastes like the beans were dragged through a desert and then burned before brewing - although their Frappacino's rock!)

You should try Blue Diamond ALMOND MILK (if you don't have a nut allergy). Waaay better than soy (not quite as sweet, but has a slight nutty flavour).
It's also got less calories and is loaded with calcium. (Actually, milk can be the worst thing for people with ostoarthritis believe it or not - it can drain your calcium).

It comes in Original, Vanilla and Chocolate flavours and all are delicious!

Krusteaz puts out this AWESOME breakfast pack variety--it's a jumbo box filled with individually wrapped pancakes, belgian waffles, and cinnamon swirled french toast. I'd say there's about 4 packs of each type in there. You just pop one in the toaster oven or microwave for a few minutes and you have an easy, delicious breakfast that honestly tastes homemade.

The french toast is out of this world!

I wish I had a picture to post with this entry, but I couldn't find one. I'd imagine you could find the box at any warehouse type store (Sam's Club, BJ's, etc). I recommend it highly!

Queen Helene Aloe hand & body lotion.

I swear to god... BEST LOTION EVAH. These bottles are HUGE (a whopping 32 oz), and they are super-cheap, to boot. No more than $4/bottle, I think. My very good guy friend recommended it to me... When we were talking about this lotion the first time, he explained to me that he has had weird issues with his skin since he got home from his last deployment. As a result, if he uses any skin products that has alcohol in it, it pisses his skin off... so he had to look, and he hit upon Queen Helene's products. If you read the ingredients on the back of Queen Helene bottles, you will see that they do not contain alcohol, which serves to make the product dry faster and whatnot.

My goddddddddd....This stuff ROCKS. It feels so nice and gentle, too. I'm sensitive to skin-care products that uses perfumy ingredients (basically, anything listed as 'scented'), and this isn't perfumy at all, so I can wear my colognes after applying this.

:)

(oh, if you want to find Queen Helene stuff, try any chain drugstores like CVS or Walgreens.)

^ Ooo, those Apple and Caramel chips look yummy! :)

Anyway, I have quite a few new products (mostly beauty stuff):

- Everyday Minerals foundation....this is seriously the only stuff that my skin somewhat agrees with! It's not perfect, but I attribute that to the way I'm applying it and not the product itself. But, it's sooo good for your skin because it's all natural minerals and makes you look flawless. I don't think I'll ever go back to liquid! You can order a free sample kit at everydayminerals.com (all you have to pay is, like, $3 for shipping). They give you generous samples too--three foundations (so you can find your perfect match), the blush of your choice, and a concealer! :)
- Kathy Van Zeeland purses
- OPI nail polish (love their Russian collection)
- L'Oreal Hip Color Duos (intense eyeshadows)
- Sunbelt oatmeal raisin bars
- Snapple white teas (they have all different flavors)
- Pout perfume in "Bohemian Belle" (omg, this is such a delicious, feminine scent! It smells like vanilla but not overpoweringly so. I am pissed that Pout is no longer in business! :()

For anyone who loves crab cakes, you have to try these. Yankee Trader is the brand name. They're sold in the frozen section of the seafood/deli area. These crab cakes taste exactly like the ones that Outback Steakhouse sells for appetizers. It wouldn't surprise me if Outback buys them from Yankee Trader. The ones I buy are two to a box, but this is the only picture I could find.

I may have said this one already but I'm not sure soo.. Dyson vacuums. I'm a super clean freak who vacuums the entire house 2 sometimes 3 times a day so I'd go through vacuums very quickly. Finally bought a Dyson and LOVE it! I've had it a little over a year and could never go back to anything else. Cleaning can be a little bit of a job (I take the entire thing apart to make sure the "cyclone chambers" are clean and clear) but it only needs to be done every 5-6 months and the suction and stuff it picks up is amazing!

 I LOVE it! No glove, no love!

That's right. I've had a couple girls get pissed at me over this, but I'd rather have a couple girls pissed at me, than live the rest of my life with VD. That one night of pleasure can complicate the rest of your sex life forever.

Anyway, here's another kick ass product. My new computer!!

With all your back problems and other physical problems, I was going to suggest that you get one. I didn't know of your financial situation though. :( I'm sorry about that Janice!! Well, when your financial situation does get better, I strongly recommend one of these things. I believe it would make a huge difference in your life for the better!! :)

Sunbelt Oatmeal Raisin bars

These things are soooo good! They're sweet, chewy, and have just the right amount of raisins! I love eating these for breakfast or a snack. And they're cheap too! I think a box of 8 is $1.99 :D

For the longest time my Mother was raving about a household cleaning gadget called the Cordless Swivel Sweeper - a rechargeable electric broom/vacuum that cleans wooden floors.

My Mother bought one for me to use in my apartment and must say it is a damn fine product. It does a great job of sweeping the floors in my place. Plus it easily gets under furniture. The rechargable battery lasts a long time too.

It works so much better than my crappy vacuum cleaner.

^ Love the Swivel also, Tom. The setup for cleaning tile floors is good too.

I'm loving this. It turns an ordinary sandwich into a taste sensation.

These are great but you only get about 10-12 in a bag for $7 so it's best to get them when there's a buy one get one free sale.

^ Sure, why not, it's a product. As anyone call tell, I am currently obsessed with Desperate Houswives. We're blasting through it as fast as Netflix can send it. We stayed up until 5 am this morning watching it, lol.

I'll name a few:

cable internet- didn't have the appreciation for it until I actually got it hooked up. Beats dial-up anyday.

Old Spice Classic- using it for years. The scent never gets old.

Ipod- you can take it and hook it up anywhere.

Coca-Cola- what a kick.

My husband loves the Irish Spring, Cool Relief Scrub, Body Wash. It's got those little scrubbers that he loves.

We also found a terrific kind of scala bread. The brand is Calise Bakery. A loaf is 20 oz. Each slice is thick enough to support eggplant or chicken parm. The loaf isn't the kind where it's huge in the center, and gets smaller near the ends. It's got sesame seeds on it. My husband loves Italian toast, and this makes the best. I'm fussy about bread. I hate it when it's too thin, too anything, lol. Here's their website. Best bread ever!

Snyder's Pretzel Pieces in "Hot Buffalo Wing". Seriously, if you're going to try any of those, you have to try the Hot Buffalo Wing! I could polish off a bag in an hour :D They're only about $3 a bag too.

Also, Quakes mini rice cakes in Cheddar or Caramel Corn. So delicious!

I'm loving Thomas' new Bagel Thins! You'd think with less bread that it'd be bland but they're actually really good! They're only 110 calories, low in fat, and really tasty! I toast one up (which only takes about 2 minutes since they're so thin), spread on a thin layer of cream cheese, and load some fresh cucumber slices on top. Makes an amazing light snack or breakfast! My favorite are the Everything bagels but I'm sure the others (Plain and Whole Wheat, last I checked) are tasty as well. Check 'em out!

The BEST product ever made for dishwashers!!!

Those things aren't cheap! A box of 12 at one of the local grocery stores costs $5.20 (bonus packs contain 3 extra) I found 12 of the bonus packs on the Big Lots discount rack for only $1.80 for a total savings of $40.80. :)

Well, to me, they're worth it. It's better than pouring the powdered soap into the dishwasher, which can be messy and makes me sneeze. I'm not wild about the liquid dishwasher soap, either.

One reason I like shopping at Big Lots so much is that I always get a chance to try products that otherwise might not be available in my area. I found these chips yesterday and they are some of the best I've ever had. Husman's is only available in certain areas of Ohio but you can buy their products online. I've tried Lay's kettle chips and Husman's has them beat by a longshot.

I bought one from Amazon.com and got it in late July. It works fine outdoors in the daytime and inside, but not so good outdoors at night and the videos aren't above moderate. I'm glad I bought it, because on the last day of last month I dropped my Nikon D40 DSLR and it got wrecked. I'm using the Olympus in its place until I buy a new DSLR.
