Eddie Murphy's Wife Files for Divorce


LOS ANGELES (AP) - Actor-comedian Eddie Murphy's wife filed for divorce Friday, citing irreconcilable differences, his publicist confirmed.

Murphy and his wife, Nicole, married in 1993 and have been separated since July. They have four daughters and one son, ages 3 to 15, according to divorce papers filed in Los Angeles Superior Court.

"The welfare of our children is our main concern, and their best interest is our first priority," the 44-year-old actor said in a statement issued through his publicist, Paul Bloch. The former "Saturday Night Live" star's film credits include the "Beverly Hills Cop,""The Nutty Professor" and "Dr. Doolittle" movies.

Johnny Gill is in Madea's Family Reunion movie? What's his character like in the film? Yeah Johnny should've had more success than he did. He's a great singer and his voice is something else. Remember his song The Floor? That's my jam. Only album i've heard by him is the album that has the songs Rub You The Right Way, Wrap My Body Tight, My My My. I need to check out his other albums. He formed a group with Gerald Levert and Keith Sweat called LSG. Their first album is very good and it has the hit song My Body.
