View Full Version : Did anybody know that there is a prequel to the movie Carlito's Way?

It is called Carlito's Way: Rise to Power and it stars Jay Hernandez, Luis Guzman, Giancarlo Esposito, Mario Van Peebles and Sean "P. Diddy" Combs.

Here is the synopsis:

This is the gripping tale of the early years of gangster legend Carlito Brigante. Seduced by the power of the brutal New York underworld, he enters a deadly circle of greed and retribution.

Carlito, with his two brothers in crime, is on the fast track to becoming Spanish Harlem’s ultimate kingpin, but quickly learns that the only way to survive at the top is through loyalty to his friends and respect for the rules of the street.

I don't see the resemblance between Jay Hernandez and Al Pacino.

No i didn't but any movie that has P Diddy in it has to suck LOL. Has this came out already or is it coming out?

I heard there's gonna be a sequel to Scarface & Scarface is gonna be played by rapper Cuban Link. Michelle Pfeiffer is supposed to be in it too. Is the sequel to Carlito's Way coming to theatres or straight to video? I'm asking this because Mario Van Peebles hasn't played in a movie that has come to theatres in a very long time. Everything he does now is straight to video.

That guy that's sitting next to Mario Van Peebles in the first picture plays on Kojak tv show with Ving Rhames & Roselyn Sanchez. LOL@Luiz Guzman hahahahahahahahahaha. He's a ugly dude but he's a good actor. I liked him in Crocodile Dundee II movie. He had me rollin because Paul Hogan scared him a couple of times.

It was done as a theatrical release but switched to home video. The dvd will be out Sept. 27.

He was in a straight to video movie before called Made with Vince Vaughn & Faizon Love.

Made actually played in the theaters, but it was a smaller film and only played art-house and indie theaters. I do remember when it came out though.
