ABC ANNOUNCES FALL PREMIERE DATES





The ABC Television Network has announced its fall premiere dates, including those for the highly anticipated return of all-new episodes of “Desperate Housewives” and “Lost,” as well as the debuts of some of the most talked about new shows of the coming season, including “Commander In Chief” and “Invasion.”



For the fall launch, ABC will be using the strength of its returning hits as a launching pad for new series.

Premiere dates for “The Wonderful World of Disney,” “Primetime” and “20/20” will be announced at a later date.

The season finale will be reairing September 16 I believe. ABC has moved the season premiere to Sept. 30.

LOS ANGELES (thefutoncritic.com) -- ABC has quietly bumped the one-hour third season premiere of "Hope & Faith" to Friday, September 30 at 9:00/8:00c, one week later than previously announced.

In its place on September 23, the network plans to add an extra episode of "Supernanny," which launches its second season earlier that night at 8:00/7:00c.

No reason was given for the change.

Emile Levisetti, Nastaran Dibai and Jeffrey B. Hodes are the executive producers of "Hope & Faith," a Touchstone Television production.

I hope this isn't the beginning of the end.........I remember when ABC kept preemptying Lois and Clark after they stupidly moved the show to Saturday.

Why do shows premiere so late in the year anyway?
