View Full Version : Favorite Blake Edwards movie?

A couple of years ago Blake Edwards received an honorary Oscar for his career as director. He's either directed some very fine movies or very bad ones but his good ones stand out. Which of these are your favorite?

I'm going to give my favorite after I finish watching The Pink Panther. For the time being it is 10.

If any of the choices isn't your favorite, specify which one.

I voted Breakfast at Tiffany's- though I haven't seen any of the Pink Panther films. However, Victor/Victoria is another excellent Edward's film with Julie Andrews as a woman pretending to be a man pretending to be a woman!

I voted Other because Victor/Victoria is my favorite. That's Life was pretty good too. Kind of cheesy but it was interesting to see Julie Andrews and Jack lemmon interact with their real life family members.

Mijada- isn't 'Le Jazz Hot' the best ever in that movie! I'm gonna get the DVD of the stage version- looks good too!

That was good. I laughed throug pretty much that whole movie.

Breakfast at Tiffany's is great- it's the only romantic comedy I think is any good. Great song (Moon River) and a really sentimental ending that'll melt anyone's heart! Plus, Audrey Hepburn plays the classiest character ever!
