Personally, I am excited to to see this movie because the original was a classic...I am going and keeping in mind during the 70's when the original came out that there wasnt the sense of PC and could get away with degerogatory comments, that now would be considered unacceptable, so I wonder how the director would did bad santa will make it. ive heard both good and bad reviews of the movie, so I am going give it a shot....anyways any comments or ppl who have seen the remake?

Actually I watched the original this morning on HBO. Great movie.

I usually hate remakes, and I'm not a fan of Billy Bob Thornton at all.... but this movie looks really good.

I agree. This one does look funny! Last week I decided to rent the original BNB since before then I had only seen parts of it on TV. When I rented it I watched it THREE times! I NEVER watch a movie that much when I get it unless I really like it a lot. The original is a classic, but I wouldn't mind seeing the new one too.

I even bought the BNB triple play DVD (that came with the 2 crappy sequels!- I must've really really wanted it!) this week. I even WATCHED the 2 sequels. The second was alright, but the 3rd was puke:
