Frankie Muniz Engaged
July 18, 2005
It looks like "Malcolm in the Middle" star FRANKIE MUNIZ isn't so little anymore. The 19-year-old FOX network star is reportedly ready to tie the knot with his new girlfriend, JAMIE, according to People. The magazine reports that the newly engaged couple met in Jamie's hometown of New Orleans this spring, while Muniz was there filming the upcoming horror flick 'Stay Alive.' Jamie is not an actress, Muniz' publicist tells People, adding that a wedding date has not yet been set for the couple.
WTF? Does anybody else think it's sad, that if they get married they cannot legally drink Champagne at their own wedding?

Wow, he's so young.
I don't think they're getting married anytime soon. They're probably just "engaged" until they really decide to get married...

No, I think anyone who gets married at 19 should have their head examined.
I realize they are just engaged, but I guarantee the statistics for couples ending up in divorce are 3x as high for anyone under 21.

My parents got married when my mom was 20 and my dad was 19. It's thirty years later and they're still married. They've had their ups and downs but they're still together. I mean, you never know. It might work out for them.
He met her this spring? That seems like a really short time to me.

Uh...okay. Maybe she'll make him give up showbiz and live in New Orleans. The more actors we can get rid of...

My grandmother got married when she was 15 years old. She'll be married to my grandfather 65 years this January. Those were different times back then though.
