I think you're right, they need to make it real scary like the first one, go back to the orginal first two movies,need new cast members also.

the movies stopped being watchable after VII.

2 and 5 were my faves. It's a bad bad movie, but pt. 5 is a GREAT comedy, my friend and I always watch it together when it airs and laugh at the redneck mother and son ("Junior, come on in here and eat your damn stew!!"), and the fat guy who gets the axe to his back while eating a chocolate bar.

No the last 3 where afwal they had nothing to do with each other I miss it when Friday the 13th movies where bassically Jason stalks and kills camp conclerous now they have him in space and have him fighting Freedy Kruger

"Jason X" was pretty silly, and I wasn't that impressed with "Freddy Vs. Jason" either. Maybe they should let the franchise rest for a while.
