Hey ya'll....I wrote a WN2W fic. FYI, What Not To Wear is a makeover show on TLC, Friday nights at 8. Okay, shameless promotion! Go easy on me, all right? I'm new at writing reality fanfiction, and I don't know how this will go over. This might be short or not short...I don't know yet. I'm sort of winging it. I'll make it up as I go along. Here we go....it's entitled "Don't Leave Me This way." I don't know who originally did it, but both Baby V and 'Toya performed it on AI. So, with no further adeiu. *slips away in to the shadows*
Stacy sighed, running a brush through her hair. Pulling it into a messy bun, she grabbed her purse and ran downstairs, where she was supposed to meet Clinton to watch secret footage of the new participant. Why she told him 7:30 she'd never know.
Clinton glanced up as she entered the room, standing up and pulling her into his arms. "You're beautiful, Stace," he whispered, kissing her forehead lightly.
Oh yeah. That's why. "You know, if you wanted to kiss me, you could have just said so," she teased. The two had been dating for the past three months, and so far nobody knew. She had to admit, it was quite fun sneaking around. Very Romeo and Juliet.
"Don't mind if I do." Stacy sighed happily, wrapping her arms around his neck as he touched his lips to hers. She snuggled closer into his embrace, and all thoughts of the show and what they were supposed to be doing flew out of her mind. He pulled her onto his lap in a chair, and they kissed for a few more moments, before she broke away, breathing heavily. "We've got stuff to do, remember?"
A while later, they were cuddled together on the couch, watching the secret footage of a teenage girl shopping. New rules stated that Stacy and Clinton could meet the MO before the ambush, so they weren't really surprised to see a young woman with long raven hair standing before them. "Hey, lovebirds."
Stacy blushed, then sat up and almost couldn't keep from gasping. The girl before her looked so much like Kate...no, it couldn't be possible. Nevertheless, she found her hands were shaking as she vaguely heard Clinton say her name. "Ms. Reynolds."
The young girl laughed, her hair flipping over her shoulder. "I'm nowhere near being a 'Ms.', but thanks. My full name is - "
"Kate. Katie. Katelyn Marie Reynolds." Stacy found herself saying, her eyes locked with the younger girl's. "You just turned fifteen. Your birthday is April 23."
Katelyn gaped, her eyes filled with shock and awe. "How on earth?"
"Stacy?" Clinton asked. "You gonna fill me in here, cause I've got no clue at all..."
Suddenly, Katelyn gasped, her face turning ashen as she fell into the nearest chair. "Oh. My. God. Nobody knows my birthday except friends, my family...and her. SL. I found the initials on the back of a picture once. Mom freaked out. Now I know why. SL. Stacy London. Oh. My. God."
Kate burst into tears, running to Stacy, who took her in her arms. "Hey, little girl," Stacy murmured, the tears threatening her as well. "Long time no see. I love you."
"I love you too, Mom."
