The other night, I was watching an episode of All In The Family on TV Land. I forget the title, but it was the one where Archie invites all his Army buddies over for dinner, and they discover that their most successful friend isn't as happy as he lets on. Anyway, the reason I bring it up, is that I thought one of the guest stars looked like someone from Seinfeld. When the end credits rolled, sure enough, the character of "Billy Pentergast" was none other than "Uncle Leo" himself...Len Lesser.

Add this to the cameo made by Jason Wintergreen in the Seinfeld season four episode, "The Opera". Wintergreen played a guy that George was trying to scalp his opera tickets to. However, he most notably portrayed Harry Snowden - the bartender - in AITF and Archie Bunker's Place. Between the two, you have two sitcoms each popular in their day. The Seinfeld regular made a guest appearance on AITF, whereas the AITF regular made an appearance on Seinfeld.

I just thought that was neat... :)

Also.... Rob Reiner (Mike on AITF) is an executive for Castle Rock, the production company that made Seinfeld.

I've seen a couple of Jason Wingreen's tv appearances going back to 1959, at least. He appeared as a theater employee on the first-ever ep of Dobie Gillis that year, and the spring of 1960 he appeared as the current-day train conductor in the Twilight Zone ep, "A Stop at Willoughby".
