WTF?! Why are Bo and Carrie releasing the exact same single?!
But good news for me and some other Bo fans: Bo's already outselling Carrie!! Hahahaha...

Bice's single is ranked number one on BarnesandNoble.com's sales charts, while Underwood's single trails at number four. Meanwhile, over at Amazon.com, Bice's single is holding down the number three slot, while Underwood's is way down at number 31.
The advance chart standings are reminiscent of the season two Idol battle between Studdard and Aiken. Though the Velvet Teddy Bear ultimately won the competition, Aiken's first single, "Bridge Over Troubled Waters/This Is the Night," debuted atop the Billboard singles chart, beating out Studdard's single, "Flying Without Wings/Superstar," which landed in the number two slot.
First of all, Bo is now ranked two and Carrie 11, and second of all, WHY is everyone saying its another Ruben/Clay? THE SINGLES HAVENT EVEN BEEN RELEASED YET. Whose to say Carrie's actual sales wont be better than Bo's? Most Carrie fans may be waiting until it comes out to buy it. So why dont we just wait until the singles actually come OUT before we start saying who's more sucsessful.
Sorry, just had to get that off my chest.

Ewww. I personally don't want to see Bo singing one of those corny American Idol singles about how he thanks the mountains and trees and sky for being the American Idol... I guess that's the only positive thing I was thinking when he didn't win. He just doesn't fit the type of person to be singing that song. It's fine for Carrie go cuz I guess it fits her better, being ya know the nice girl from the farm. But I was looking forward to Bo releasing something more rock-ish.

lol those presales mean nuthin. Diana Degarmo outsold Fantasia the first couple weeks on Amazon and she sold waaay less in the end.

Didn't Diana and Fantasia release the same single last year? I dont keep up with Fantasia, but I know "I Believe" was the single last year and I know Diana released it..

I Believe was on Diana's single but it wasn't her released single to radio stations. "Dreams" was Diana's official single- what was played on the radio, what she sang on talk shows, the name of the single.

Yay. Reminder: Carrie Underwood's single comes out tomorrow! :woohoo:
Personally though, I wanted to see something similar to what Diana and Fantasia released last year. Something like...
CARRIE UNDERWOOD
1. Inside Your Heaven
2. Angels Brought Me Here
3. Alone (Since Independence Day is already on the Showstoppers CD and she did a great job on this song. Then again, Carrie is a pure country girl at heart. -_-)
BO BICE
1. Long, Long Road (I'll admit that it wasn't his best performance, but it's an original that belongs to him)
2. Vehicle
3. Inside Your Heaven

Sorry to say, but I am disappointed by Carrie's single. :( She sounded better performing the song live. And Independence Day is getting old. I hope Bo does a better job with his recorded rendition of Inside Your Heaven.

Ugh, I only saw a glimpse of that. I didn't even know she was going to be performing.
I noticed that the instrumental sounds more country.

I think Bo sounds better at it, even though Inside Your Heaven is more of a girlie song.
Ugh. I really think Carrie should've done Angels Brought Me Here instead. She sounded way better on that one than IYH. I better see that one on her album! pissed:

Carrie's single hit #1!
'INSIDE' STORY: Carrie Underwood collects her first No. 1 in Billboard, joining a long list of chart-topping "American Idol" competitors. Her "Inside Your Heaven" / "Independence Day" (Arista) makes a premature debut at No. 1 on Billboard's Hot Country Singles Sales chart, based solely on street date violations. Those same infringements bring Underwood onto the Singles Sales chart at No. 5 (This chart was formerly known as Hot 100 Singles Sales, but since it also feeds the Pop 100, it was appropriate to change the name).
Underwood is the ninth "Idol" singer to earn a Billboard No. 1 as a solo performer, following Kelly Clarkson, Clay Aiken, Ruben Studdard, Kimberley Locke, Josh Gracin, William Hung, Fantasia and Diana DeGarmo.

And it'll be even sadder if Bo doesn't reach #1 too! If William Hung can, anyone can! -_-

Sales for last week (Carrie's 2nd week, Bo's 1st week)
Inside Your Heaven - Bo Bice (105,955)
Inside Your Heaven - Carrie Underwood (70,772)
So Carrie outsold Bo on her first week, she sold 130,000 her first week while Bo only sold about 106,000.
So overall Carrie has sold so far a little over 200,000 (including digitial sales about 264,000)
