What did everyone think of the season finale?
My favorite part was Nick and JT started singing and dancing to LL's song "I Need Love". Nick is so cray! (lol).
I wonder if Shelly's going to accept JT's proposal? Was Grant really going to propose to her?
Overall, I liked the season finale.

I liked it as well. I don't think Grant was going to propose. I am not sure how long they have been dating but he doesn't seem the type to rush into marriage. I think he was just picking out a nice ring for her and Janie wanted to try on the big rock J. T. and Rita saw. Question is, will J. T. change his mind if indeed Grant wasn't going to propose?

I find Donavan's decision to ditch his plane ride strange. As someone said on another post UPN can't afford to cancel its shows so this show looks like it is going to run log enough to get into syndication (4 or 5 seasons). I predict that Eve and JT will get married eventually- maybe by the end of next season and she'll be pregnant before the show ends. Janie will probably get pregnant too and Donavan will get hitched as well.

I found Donovan's decision strange too. I can; however, see some comedy coming from the others trying to keep him hidden. But who will run Z Lounge?
Does anyone know how long a show usually runs before it goes into syndication. Girlfriends has been on about 5-6 years and the old shows are run twice a day here. I have also noticed some of the same lines of dialog in both shows. It is almost as if the same writer is doing both shows.

4 full seasons is the norm. What are some examples of the same dialogue?

Grant is so lame, man he's lame hahahahahahahahahahahahaha. LOL@sweater he bought Eve hahahahahahahahahahahaha. I hope Shelly accepts JT's marriage proposal because her & Grant shouldn't be together. He isn't her type at all. I don't know why she told him she loves him because that's a damn lie LOL.

I like the finale. Like the rest of you I didn't understand Donovan's actions. As a matter of fact I don't understand why J.T is so hung up over Shelly again? I can't beleive thought that sweater cape contraption was work giving to a human!! That looked like something you'll rap a dog in!!! :)

I think I understand Donovon's decision. Remember in the taxi, Ludacris (I don't remember his character's name), had a picture of him with his friends, and Donovon asked him about it, and he responded that they were his friends who he considered his family. In that moment, Donovon realized that his friends were his family, and that's why he got out of the cab. Does that make sense? I'm thinking that's why he decided to stay. Wasn't immigration after him?

Yeah the whole Donovon thing was kinda stupid. I don't see why he couldn't become an American citizen, he's British how hard could that have been? It's not like he was coming from a strange land. I think that Grant probably got Shelly some earrings or a pendant or something simple and that JT has made a fool out of himself. I think JT was just trying to bet Grant at his own game and JT just made a boo-boo. If JT would have waited for Shelly to open her gift from Grant and if it were some earrings, I don't think that JT would have proposed.
