yeah. even though i'm a metal head and hate country i've been supporting carrie all the way because she's by far the most talented. bo likes metallica and i've liked him and constantine from the start because of their genre, so i won't be too disappointed if he wins. i was having a freak attack when he was in the bottom three and voted for him several times the next week. and yeah i was pissed when constantine was eliminated so early. he really didn't deserve to lose to some of the people who were safe, ie scott.

Carrie's numbers in the midwest are no surprise. in the other important region The East you have a 3 point difference for Carrie and in Mountain you have a 1 point split for Bo. Him carrying the west indicates to me that Bo might pull this out, but this is gridlocked at split with two time zones each so it's anyone's guess who wins.

I think this was the best final two. The best part about it, for me, anyway, is that I wouldn't have been disappointed if Bo won.

This is a problem when you have a favorite and you really want that one to win. There's only a 1 in 12 chance that person will be crowned the American Idol.

Ummm but I'll say some good things for now.

1) HOLY **** THE ALL STAR MEDLEY THING *DIES* That was...the best idol top 12 finale performance ever. EVERYONE did great. EVEN SCOTT!!!! Damn I wish Nikko sang that song some time on idol rather than Scott because I thought he did amazing. OMG AND CONSTANTINE WAS SO HOT TONIGHT. I've missed those seductive winks at the camera... and the headbanging..and ahh...Jess and Nadia are pretty damn good at the rock thing too. I was very surprised too at Lindsey and Mikalah...they are waaaaaayyy underrated. Hey and even though I HATE the song, tonight Anwar and Anthony made me enjoy I Believe I Can Fly. Carrie was good, but Bo ending it off was amazing.

2) THE BEACH BOYS MEDLEY was great too...everyone sang well with the exception of Scott :rotflmao: he was so out of tune it's unbelievable. I love the song Barbara Ann too. Geez what a disgrace to the Beach Boys haha.

3) The spoof on the Corey Clark thing :lol: corny but I liked it. Constantine's "accent" :eyes: and omg Randy's "cd" :lol:

5) Bo and Carrie's duet sounded beautiful, and I love that song even more.

IMO, I think Bo was more consistent week after week and had the best stage prescense of the season. He may not have sung the best songs all the time, but I think he was still more consistent and outsung the others.

I personally feel that AI is much better for her than Nashville Star ever would have been. I mean, she can do other genres besides country. Her Alone performance was amazing. She doesn't have an accent, so it's not like she's always doing country. Her voice is much more pop sounding to me than country. Even when she's doing Independence Day...compared to Martina's version, hers isn't that country sounding at all. If AI thought she was too country, they wouldn't have put her through. I know someone who auditioned for AI, and they told her she was too country. She did end up making it on Nashville Star. However, Carrie has far too much talent for Nashville Star.

I really don't see why people are so shocked. It was obvious that Carrie had a HUGE fan base from the beginning. It's not like she was doing poorly and all of a sudden came back and won it. She always did great on every results show, so I'm puzzled that people are so surprised. Bo also has quite the large fan base, so I wouldn't have been shocked if he won.

Well,you have named three women who do not look the same for one. Faith...well she was a brunette the first few years of her career, and look at her now. She has quite the soulful voice, which sets her apart from the rest. LeAnn...the girl was belting out classic Patsy Cline songs at the age of fifteen. Nothing more really has to be said about her. And Trisha, well she is your worst example. The woman is 40 years old. She's the farthest thing from Carrie. She has also never ventured into the type of pop that Faith and Leann have. She's always been either traditional country or somewhere between the two. If you listen to an entire Faith song and an entire Trisha song, it will not sound the same at all.
