I just need to get this off my chest!

I am getting so annoyed with kids who don't put their name on their paper. My mom and 2 of my sisters are all teachers. Right now, I am grading and entering grades for my mom as grades are due Thursday. I can't tell you how much longer it is taking me to try to figure out who in the hell's paper this is when there is no name on it.

AAAAAAAAARRRRRRRRGGGGGGGGGGGGGHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

It is so frustrating. You have no idea how much I just want to chunk the papers and ell the kids who don't have a grade for the paper to redo it.

Easy answer: Fs for everyone! And I mean fail, not the other F. :)

I absolutely cannot stand any kind of misspelling. It's so unprofessional. I see it happen at work all the time, by people who are supposed to be our supervisors. It just looks awkward.

One of my biggest pet peeves is seeing someone correct another person's grammar on a public message board.

That's because the schools don't teach the correct spelling. So they grow up learning it the wrong way.

One of my biggest pet peeves is seeing someone correct another person's grammar on a public message board.i know what you mean .everybody here at so knows how bad my spelling and grammer are .but at least you guys are polite about it i left a message bord recently because not only did they get on me about it they were downright nasty to the point where i was affraid to post there for fear of having to hear about it again . the final straw came when i got cussed out at the borad i mean nothing but f this and f that i did something i never do i let loose with a stream of words that i rarely if ever use in my private life and then after i did i got to thinking .hey im over 30 years old why shuld i worry about a bunch of snot nosed kids who have no respect for themselves me or anybody for that matter so i decided to stay here at so where people have respect and good manners toward each other .sorry if i went on too long or got a bit off topic .ps anybody here can correct my spelling or garmmer if you want too and i know my posts are sometimes a little hard to read but i will try to do better

One of my biggest pet peeves is seeing someone correct another person's grammar on a public message board. But of course I don't pick on anyone here for incorrect spelling or grammar. :D

Just in the professional arena.

Oh yeah, another pet peeve of mine related to grammar.

Hearing people assume that if a person is from another country, than the language they speak is the adjective form of that country: i.e.,

If you are from America, the language you speak is "American".
If your are from Mexico, you speak "Mexican".
If you are from Canada, you speak "Canadian."
If you are from Costa Rica, you speak "Costa Rican."

I was appalled at church one time some months ago and one lady who was a missionary to Haiti told us that kids in a school sang Happy Birthday in both English and in "Haitian"!! I wanted to shout, they don't speak "Haitian" in Haiti, they speak FRENCH!!!!!

Where did this lady get her missionary credentials???? "Aw, lookit them there
Haitian kids, they're speakin' in that funny language, what wuz it? Oh yeah, they must be singing in HAITIAN!!"

Oui, madame...

Where do I begin?!!!

Lately, I've been getting irritated with people who don't wait their turn in line. I'm up at the counter at a c-store being waited on and somebody comes in and holds out $20 to the cashier and says Pump 4, then walks out, like I wasn't even standing there. Um, excuse me, I was here first. I would never do that to anybody else. I would stand in line. Just because one is just getting gas is no reason to go ahead of me. I let one guy have it one time, I was getting my things rung up and he comes in and from behind me starts handing his credit card to the cashier and says whatever pump he was on. I turned around and yelled "Can you wait just 30 seconds while this guy waits on me first"?!! He backed off and the cashier asked me if I was having a bad day, and I said not until I came in here!!

Speaking of customers, another pet peeve will and always be bad customer service.

Lastly, traffic lights that aren't sensored especially late at night. I'll be driving and the light ahead of me turns red, and there's nobody else around. At 1 in the morning. So I'm sitting there like a schmuck. Just feel like running it.

Guys who talk on their cell phones while in the stall. I realize you gotta take care of business, but can you stop taking care of business while your taking care of business?! And Wash Your Hands, Mister! as my Mama used to say.

People who slow down the revolving door at work, and then push on it to get it to go faster. Morons...I can't stand people that are that moronic. AND DON'T PUSH ON A MECHANICAL DOOR!!!!!!

I really get ticked off when I'm driving behind a slow driver and when I go to pass them they purposely speed up just to try and prevent me from getting ahead.

I have so many people pet peeves, but most can fall under one simple sentence.

People who are rude, lazy, selfish, self-centered, ill-mannered, inconsiderate, or just plain stupid!

OMG! That is ****ing NASTY. :barf: It also pisses me off when people stick their gum under school desks or at restaurants. SWALLOW YOUR GUM IF YOU'RE NOWHERE NEAR A GARBAGE CAN, PEOPLE.

I'd rather swallow my gum than stick it under something. :o

Ditto.

Also, assuming you didn't get your gum from a gumball machine, just save the original wrapper and spit your gum into the wrapper when your done. Then throw it away later. I thought that was common sense.
