I like how I live in the middle of ****ing nowhere. I need another job and like, all the restaurants are like, 40 min. away + but theyre by Conway so I COULD do waitressing in the AM and like, Shaws afternoonish.

It was freezing in here this morning and now I'm practically sweating.
Ive been freezing all day. I never took off my fleece jacket. I got a sleeveless shirt on, which aint too smart, but its because Im too cold to move and put on a sweatshirt. I think I will though. And Ill put on my winter socks that are like 3 inches thick.

I was too...just came here from LJ, actually. I just read your entry too...OMG it was deja vu reading it. My teachers told me the EXACT SAME thing...that English was where all my talent was. And yet, I sit here a journalism major...I came to the conclusion I don't like the literature part of English...I excel in the writing area, and journalism is just the thing. It took me 1.5 years in college to realize that.

OMG...same thing with my parents. Well, kinda. They go back to like 1970 or so. My mom babysat for a bunch of my dad's nieces/nephews...but they didn't ACTUALLY meet until my mom was a senior in HS and by then my dad was out of college. They got married two years after my mom graduated from HS.

There's so many things you can do in journalism, but I think you already knew that. :lol: I'm trying my hand at everything to see what my niche in journalism is...in the fall, I take a news photography class so that should be fun :D

It takes time to figure out what your niche is... I have faith in you :)

Interviewing takes practice...if you're going to major in psychology, you'd better do your best.

1977 was definitely a big year for a lot of people I know. My parents married that year...then one of my aunts...and a bunch of their friends that I know. It's a good thing my parents waited a few more years to have kids.

Aww. :D I'm not really sure if I've changed since I left HS... I feel like I'm the same kind of person I was when I was in HS...but I have definitely changed in my attitude about school. I remember at this time last year I was like, "**** school. Why am I STILL in school?" but I stopped saying that in the middle of the fall semester last year. I'm looking forward to coming back for the 05-06 year. :D
