it's ok. it was really boring standing for five hours and then only about 10 people getting autographs during their signing session. i met amy though so that made up for it :D

I remember that I went to the Cow Palace in San Francisco (where they held tryouts for season 4) and there wasn't a lot of people, but there were some people. My mom was my chaperone and we were in line and I was trying to decide what song to sing (it was either between Against All Odds or If You Don't Know Me by Now), but I never made it to actually auditioning in front of the judges or even the producers. But I saw my best friend there and she said she auditioned, but she didn't make it to Hollywood, even though Simon was the only judge that liked her.

and yeah, jasmine's dad was SUPER nice. i was actually scared to talk to him, because when we passed by him the first time, he was on the phone yelling at whoever he was talking to... so i was like.. uh oh. but he was super nice. :lol: he was even talking in tagalog with my mom. you're filipino right?
