Ok, this is kind of funny. A while ago I e-mailed Sherri Shepherd for her autograph, and I still had her e-mail address. So I sent her an e-mail congratulating her on the renewal. She responded thanking me for the great news...she hadn't even heard yet.

She probably needed that. I've heard her baby's been having some serious health problems. My thoughts are with her.

Get real, if you actually think that it was her, than I've got a bridge to sell you. It's the people who work for them who answer their emails, and take care of their fan mail, not the actual actors themselves.

I don't know-on Roseanne's old message board, Rosie herself was on constantly. I talked to her on several occasions on the message board.

And it wasn't me who contacted Sheppard.

The renewal is good news, but the fact that it isn't on the fall schedule is disheatening. Remember- "Tru Calling" was renewed as well, and it just barely made it to the air this season.

Actually it was Sherri. I've written her before for an autograph, and she responded with one plus a personally typed letter answering my questions and commenting on things I wrote. Perhaps Julia Roberts wouldn't respond personally (obviously), but this is Sherri Shepherd, who is very grateful to her fans.

For some reason, I keep thinking this will be the last season.

Shari Shepard isn't as famous as you think she is.

About a year ago, my husband was given the number of Sherri's assistant to pick something up from her. He called the number - and got Sherri's instead! (It was her cellphone number that she often would give to her assistant; well, that's the way it was explained to him).

So, yeah, I absolutely believe that it was Sherri who emailed back. As has been pointed out, these are working TV actors, not necessarily BIG, People-magazine cover stars.
