Joey here too... I thought it might be funny, but it's pretty obvious that Matt LeBlanc isn't any good without his friends.

Let's hope Lisa Kudrow's upcoming HBO series will be better

Joey for me as well. I could only watch about 10 minutes of the first episode before I changed the channel. I hope Lisa's show will be better as well, she's hilarious and never got enough attention as a "friend"

I somewhat agree with you. When Mrs. Huber was killed off, the show lost a spark. Then Teri Hatcher hogged almost every episode about her leaving the other women doing nothing. Bree had a lot going for her in the beginning until Rex became sick. Lynette has nothing to do but look after her kids. Gabrielle stopped sleeping with the gardener that he disappeared for many episodes at a time. And poor Nicollete, her character has nothing at all in this show. I don't see why they keep her. If Marcia Cross wasn't in it, I'd completely stop watching the show.

well, Teri is the Sarah Jessica Parker of the show, she is the center of the show.

I must disagree with you thought, I feel that the show has gotten better and better as the season has progressed. It went from "I like this show" to "this is getting great" to "I love this, I live for new episodes". I think the more twisted the show has gotten, the better it's gotten. I wish there were more than 2 episodes left this season. If next season is as good as this year, it's definately gonna secure a place in my favorite tv shows.

Now that shows like Buffy and Sex And The City are over, Desperate Housewvies has been the first show to come on to actually make up for the lack of those shows. It's definately my #1 show of the season.

That's the one show I thought I would hate but am in love with... I had never watched a primetime soap... EVER or a daytime soap or even a drama(yeah it's a dramedy but you get the point). When Mrs. Huber got killed, I was sucked in and I have been ever since. There's only been 2 or 3 episodes since that weren't "great", but even those were very good.

true, most people I know who dislike DH, such as one of my friends, have only watched one episode. DH is the type of show that is better the more you know the characters IMO.

Plus, it is nice to see a SCRIPTED series get the attention usually only reserved for reality crap. This show is so big it's even standing up to the evil uglyheaded monster of all that is wrong with the world--American Idol, and winning many weeks.

I used to love soaps like Days and GH, but I don't know...I just can't get into DH. It's too over the top for me or something.

I thought I would like Jake In Progress.... I was disappointed.

About Joey, although it was a bit of a disappointment, it's still funny enough to keep me watching every week. Frasier it is not....

As for Desperate Housewives, the killing of Mrs. Huber was the peak of the season, IMO. Whether or not the series will be that good again is unsure.... but if it stays as good as it is now, it will still be one of my favorite shows on TV.

I'm just commenting on what other people have picked.
My vote goes for Listen Up which had a good lead and a good second banana.... but man does that show BLOW. Quite possibly the most atrocious sitcom ever to air on television. It makes Yes, Dear look like the greatest series ever.

If it didn't have to be like every other sitcom nowadays and have an annoying, bratty teen girl in it. UGH.
