My brother's new(in the past month) computer is acting crazy! What could it be? Every time that he tries to turn on or restart his new computer it keeps restarting. This is different than the Blasterworm thing. He can't even get online! His computer keeps restarting ever time he turns it on! What's the problem? I told him to take it back to where he bought it and have them fix it. He has a warrenty. Is this a virus? He rarely goes online with it but uses it mainly for computer games(disks) Could it be a defective disk that is causing the problem?HELP! :eek:

It could have be hardware. does it give any sort of dark blue screen with a message before it shuts off?

has he tried to boot it into Safemode?

Well, he ended up restoring his computer so everything is ok now.Thanks! :wave:

good, now MAKE SURE that he installs and sets up an Antivirus, Firewall, Antispyware, and does all of his Windows security updates, remember it takes an average of 15 minutes for a brand new computer to become infected with garbage after being connected to the internet.
