Stuck In The '70's
04-28-2005, 02:19 AM
Yeah, that is my goal..The only shows from that decade that I refuse to waste my good money are Happy Days, Laverne and Shirley, Little House in the Praire, MASH, there is more but I cannot think of any at this present time  oh, if the second season of Mork and Mindy comes out..I am not going to buy that, God, that show was TERRIBLE!
Their's very few shows from the 70's I don't like.

I'm actually looking forward to seeing Good Times on tv land. I have seasons 2 and 3 on dvd, but I really don't feel like spending money on anymore GT season sets.
I'll never watch S&S on tvland. I have the first 5 seasons on dvd and season 6 is coming out soon.
I'm not a big fan of westerns but I would like to see Wanted: Dead or Alive. I wish they would air that on tvland.
You got TV Land now?
I love westerns. The Big Valley is my favorite.
I never saw Wanted Dead or Alive but I'd love to.

Since Good Times is one of my favorite shows..I rush out ASAP once the DVD is released, I do not think anyone quite understands what the hell I see in that show, but I just love it..I think Willona is da bomb.. And the only Western I liked was Maverick, and I used to watch it when it was on TV Land back in 2002(?) I think it used to air right before The Rockford Files, so you got a James Garner mini marathon each day.

I loved that episode where the men all got pregnant and Cliff gave birth to a hogie.
Claire was a snob. I never liked her.
I did like Marissa Tomei but at the time I was angry A Diff'rent World took Family Ties time slot so that season I boycotted it and TCS and watched SledgeHammer and The Charmings.
 I remember that episode. That was crazy.
I never cared for her either.
 You were smart. I don't think they'll ever air the Charming on tv again or release it on dvd.

Thats too bad because it was a great show. I think The Disney Channel did air it at one time in the 80's but I didn't have it then. Thats back when it was a pay channel.

Hey Kate
Yea you would think with all these worthless channels they have up and down the dial, they could come up with something good like this.
nah, that would require rational thought, which is contrary to the simple fact that the people that make all the big decisions are very stupid - plus they'd probably find some way to put reality shows on there.

Have fun seeing REO Speedwagon! I wish Bob would play some free venues
You're welcome, Lucas. :)
