"The Slicer" Editing

How come the first scence of "The Slicer" was edited where Elaine had that dream where she was in bed with Jerry, George and Kramer? It kind of set up the whole plot of the neighbor and the cat. Was this scene ever shown in syndication or was there something inappropriate about it that it had to be edited out? I ask because I could of sworn years back that I saw this scene in tact on this episode in repeats. I know that there is a lot of editiong for commercials and what not but I wish that they could of kept this scence in tact.

It depends, I've seen the episode both uncut and edited. My local affilliate in NY does not cut out that scene.

You know you are right. Since I have seen that ep since it had aired the first time I haven't seen that scene. I am in Chicago and maybye Mayor Daley doesn't approve. :lol:

Is that by anychance WNYW channel 5, because I get that as an affiliate station in New Jersey. If so then I will have to look for "The Slicer" episode when it airs.
