"The Sisterhood of the Travelling Pants" movie coming in June!!!

As a huge fan of the book (just finished the third book today :D Wierd coincidence huh?), I have to say it looks okay. All the characters are pretty much like I pictured them except Tibby and Lena. Tibby's hair looks awful and they got Alexis Bledel (Gilmore Girls) to play Lena. That ain't right. Lena is supposed to be this tanned, Greek-Meditteranean beauty! Personally I think that choice is WAY off the mark. Anyone seen the trailer and got any opinions?

I've read the book,and I quite enjoyed it.I dont think I'll rush out and see the movie though.Its not the kind of film I'd spend money on.

I'm disappointed in the movie. I always pictured Kostos to have long hair. I never pictured Tibby like Amber - even though she'll do a good job, I love Amber Tamblyn. Lena... I'm not even gonna start in on how much I hate Alexis Bledel. Carmen was a good choice. And I don't really have an opinion of how Bee should look, since I've read the second book more than the first, and therefore imagine her with brown hair.

Plus, they cut the part of Effie! What the hell? Blah.

OMFG!? You're kidding me? NO EFFIE!?!? :mad: :confused: :boxing: :soapbox: :cuss: :censored: But Effie's one of the best parts. She's so funny and makes the book less goody-goody.

Bee and Carmen look like I thought they would except I thought Bee would have lighter blonde hair. (she dyes her hair brown in the second one but in the first its white blonde) I bet Amber will be good as Tibby (just don't like the dyed hair) BUT ALEXIS BLEDEL? THAT IS SO WRONG!!

(I'm very passionate on this subject. This is probably my favourite book at the moment.)
