I know what you mean about the added stress (I can never imagine singing after hearing I just lost - I'd be way too choked up), but I think in this case, they're down to such talented people, and they've said they figure they will all get contracts, that its probably done more to give them a little more exposure to other agents and labels. That's all I can figure. It's really in their favor to do an encore for other prospective contracts.

you know, this season is really strange.

when the top 12 started
-i wouldn't have ever believed that vonzell (even though i love her), scott, and anthony would all be in the final 7 togeher.
-i wouldn't have ever thought that nadia would only be 8th place!! entertainment weekly even favored her as the winner.
-i also wouldn't have thought that vonzell would be in the top 2 girls, but i'm glad she is.

1 time in the bottom 3 - Bo, Anwar, Anthony and Vonzell (never in the bottom 2)
2 times in the bottom 3 - Scott

Only 2 were never in the bottom 3 - Constantine and Carrie. Hmm. At this time last year, Fantasia and George were the only ones that didn't land in the bottom 3, but the next week Fantasia did, and she ended up winning. So hm. Just a little fact :lol:

Ah am I the only one who is really really happy that Constantine didn't sing that one part of Bohemian Rhapsody.. the opera-ish part (well not opera but I don't know how to describe it haha... the high part with the mama mia's)? I think he would have totaaaaally messed that up and I'm happy with what he did actually sing, as shown yesterday.

Not really - I didn't expect it. Its way too complicated to put together with the overdubs required for the background. You can't just use the three backup singers for it.


As much as I love him, I don't think he could have pulled it off completely at this point either. Remember, Queen is a "standard" and pretty tough to reach when you're still that much of a novice really.
