Anything by Kiss, Poison or Huey Lewis & the NewsThose guys wouldn't torture me, they're great!! When you're 14 in 1977, KISS were everyone's favorite band. They were the coolest. Ditto with Poison, those guys all knew how to make a decent pop tune ("I want action, tonight!!"). Huey Lewis & and the News were good, too, back in 1983, but I'm not sure I was a big fan of the goofy harmonies of "Do You Believe In Love" and "Happy to Be Square."

Rap "songs" are the ones that destroy me. puke:

"Barbie Girl" is another my husband likes driving me nuts with.

And basically anything by ABBA!

Which is just about ALL of em!!
(The only good thing about the annoying background music is that it helps drown out the annoying foreground vocals!) heehee!

Crimson and Clover by Tommy James, they keep repeating the same words
over & over. The music part was ok but the lyrics were terrible.

"Having My Baby" - Paul Anka & Odia Coates
"Undercover Angel" - Alan O'Day
"Muskrat Love" - Captain & Tennille
"Afternoon Delight" - Starland Vocal Band
"I've Never Been to Me" - Charlene
"Feelings" Morris Albert

"Seasons In the Sun" - Terry Jacks

This list is by no means complete, and I just learned there's no such word as torturistic. I like it though, I think I'll coin it.
