Inspired by DAX. You can list more but single out the one album you think is the greatest album ever by a female artist. Let's give the women their props.

Likewise, not counting greatest hits.
Off the top of my head, I'd pick MeShell Ndegeocello's debut, Plantation Lullabies. She talks about sex, religion and politics without fear. One of the boldest, most blunt women I've ever heard. She writes her own stuff and she's funky as hell.
Others I like, not necessarily classics but favorite albums from female soloists:
Peace Beyond Passion - MeShell Ndegeocello
Cookie: The Anthropological Mixtape - MeShell Ndegeocello
Raw Like Sushi - Neneh Cherry
Miseducation of Lauryn Hill - Lauryn Hill

I'm kinda surprised how much times have changed.
The majority of Christina fans in here are those who openly despise pop music, when six years ago, her and Britney were exactly what Hilary and Lindsay are today in the pop world.
