Marlene, I know how you and millions of other young women must have felt when Paul McCartney got married in March 1969. I pretty much felt the same way when Olympic swimming champion Janet Evans got married last April! :eek:

No not really. I got married 3 months earlier than Paul (Dec. 1968)(I was 18) So I was still a newlywed and couldn't have cared less! :lol: I am more in love with Paul today than I ever was way back then! :crazy: :wave:

Side note; My eyes look like they are closed in that picture but I was actually looking down at my birthday cake. That was taken a while back. :)

My dearest friend--who posts on here as Luckymama58--made a similar picture of me (on the day I graduated from college) and Freddie Prinze of "Chico and the Man". It is on my Yahoo profile if anyone cares to check it out.

I was kinda like you, BTW, about my biggest celebrity crush--I was "engaged to be engaged" (LOL) when Freddie was alive, couldn't have cared less. But I rediscovered him a couple of years ago thanx to TVLand's marathon, and was really obsessive there for a while! (I'm better now hee hee!)
