Yeah thats true. Will and grace is ending this year though. FOX is know for their adult cartoons and reality shows so their not really in trouble, and CBS has a lot of veteran sitcoms, dramas too

NBC is in huge trouble, mostly sitcom wise. Its veteran sitcoms are either gone or going (Will and Grace, Friends). They have Joey but from what I hear it's not doing great. Their doing pretty good drama-wise, although they should really stop with the Law and Order spin-offs. They have like 7 now.
CBS is definetly doing well, it has The King Of Queens in it's 6th Season, Yes, Dear in it's 5th, and Still Standing in it's 3rd along with Two and a Half Men as their sitcoms and for Dramas they have the three CSI's which are all doing very well.

Law & Order is the only profitable franchise on NBC right now - all four shows consistently scores in the top 30 nielsens, amazing for scripted drama. This is what we need MORE of, not less. This is SMART TELEVISION. It makes you think. You don't have the plots handed to you. As long as it pulls in the ratings, Dick Wolf & co will produce as many as they can get in the bag. Rumors are already stirring of a fourth spin-off, which really COULD happen. There are still many aspects of the justice system left to cover, and they could still get another show out of them, as long as they continue to create new stories for the other series.

Law & Order pounds the competition.

CI consistently smashes Desperate Housewives.
The Veteran Law & Order now consistently beats newcoming trash CSI: NY, which CBS will probably move to another timeslot next season.
SVU almost ALWAYS wins it's timeslot, and is almost ALWAYS in the top 20!
And TBJ's ratings have been consistently high since it's premiere.

If they can't produce a decent sitcom (and I'm starting to think Zucker & his idiots over there just can't do it), then we can at least have a good Drama Network.....

Law & Order is the only profitable franchise on NBC right now - all four shows consistently scores in the top 30 nielsens, amazing for scripted drama. This is what we need MORE of, not less. This is SMART TELEVISION. It makes you think. You don't have the plots handed to you. As long as it pulls in the ratings, Dick Wolf & co will produce as many as they can get in the bag. Rumors are already stirring of a fourth spin-off, which really COULD happen. There are still many aspects of the justice system left to cover, and they could still get another show out of them, as long as they continue to create new stories for the other series.

Top 10 Reasons Why SP7 Was Cancelled:

* 10.Win2K is selling better than expected so there's no reason to continue working on NT4.
* 9. Giving each developer $1000 for every bug found was getting far too costly.
* 8. Due to a softened economy, they've had to cut some costs, and NT4 bug fixes drew the short straw.
* 7. The odd numbered Service Packs are the "good ones", so Win2K migrations would probably be put off for another 18 months.
* 6. It was taking too long to get WPA integrated into SP7, so that work is being transported to Win2K SP2
* 5. Trying to get the entire Service Pack to fit on one DVD was far too difficult.
* 4. It just occurred to them that by Q3, they'd be supporting 5 OSes: Win98, WinME, WinNT, Win2K and WinXP, and they didn't want to get customer expectations too high.

Hawaii Five-O is long-awaited by fans for DVD release, with much anticipation but little word from the studio about whether or not this will happen. But "The Hawaii Five-O Home Page" website has posted news that it may be on the radar for next year:

Someone wrote to me recently: "Mike, there was an article in [a national newspaper] about 3 weeks ago about Paramount/Viacom releasing TV DVD's. I called the journalist who wrote the article, and amazingly enough, she picked up the phone. I asked her about Five-O, and so she actually called Viacom for me, and called me back. She said Five-O is slated to be released on DVD in 2006."

the hosts file is located:

Windows 95/98/Me c:\windows\hosts

(you may need administrator access for Windows NT/2000/XP)

I can already rule out that it's my firewall or my HOSTS file, because it happens on all three computers I have. Yet I've talked to 3 or 4 other people and it works for all of them.
