I kno that in like a couple of years Nick@Nite is getting The Nanny, Mad about you, and home improvement. so it looks as though Nick@Nite will Now Focus on the 90's Era Only so what shows would you want and not want to see on nick at night

Shows I would like to see sooner or later (or keep)
Mad About You
Home Improvement
Dave's World
Family Matters
A Different World
Fraiser
3rd Rock From The Sun
News Radio
The Drew Carey Show
Cosby
Grace Under Fire
Becker
Wings
Married With Children

Shows I Like But Wouldn't Want To See On Nick At Night
The Nanny (I like the show but i can't watch it every day)
Step By Step (to kid oriented and kids mostly dont stay up late)
Hangin' With Mr. Cooper (same as step by step)
The Wonder Years (same as step by step)
Boy Meets World (same as step by step)
Ellen (it's already on oxygen)
Seinfeld (either you love it or you hate it)

Wings was already on N@N and they just got rid of it a few weeks ago, so no to that, they treated it like crap.

Boy Meets World is not too kid oriented, have you seen the last 3 seasons? If it's so kid oriented, then why did Disney Channel ban 3 episodes for content? Step by Step is FAMILY oriented, Full House is kid oriented and it's on Nick at Nite, so that has nothing to do with it IMO.

I want to see

Boy Meets World
Step By Step
Family Matters

on Nick at Nite

ROSEANNE airs on Nick-at-Nite. BMW doesn't even come close...

Murphy Brown is on N@N right now... started back in January. It's airing at 3:30am right now.

In content... Lola Dane was saying how all of these shows listed weren't kids shows, well half the show currently airing on N@N aren't kids shows. ;)

I've heard rumors that N@N has Grace Under Fire primed to be its next pick-up, but have heard nothing to confirm it.

Show's i'd like to see on N@N:

227
Night Court
The Facts Of Life (it needs to come back)
Kate and Allie
Gimme a Break
Will and Grace
Blossom (why not they have the fresh prince which aired a the same time as blossom)
Designing Women
Ally McBeal
Home Improvement
Gilmore Girls (in a few years)
Saved By The Bell

I'd also like to see N@N get dramas back and these following shows would be good:
Life Goes On
Felicity
7th Heaven
Touched By An Angel
Dr. Quinn, Medicine Women
Strong Medicine
The Practice

These are locked for a while. Frasier for Lifetime. TBS has the other two for a long time.

Murphy Brown (same as seinfeld)

Already airing...

Will and Grace
Ally McBeal
Home Improvement
Gilmore Girls (in a few years)
Will & Grace is locked by Lifetime. Starts soon. Ally McBeal and Gilmore Girls are one hour shows, and N@N does not have the time for them; they are are an all sitcom channel. Gilmore Girls is doing good on ABC Family. Home Improvement is already coming to Nick@Nite.

well, the average age of a BMW or FH fan is a bit younger than the average age of a Murphy Brown or Roseanne fan. FH is definately kid-oriented, but a lot of people argue that it should be on "Nickelodeon" instead of "Nick At Nite", so the argument is moot. N@N is overnight, why bother airing shows whose average fans age is 15 and under at a 1 am slot, where mostly 18-35 year olds will be the ones up watching?

There is only one show Nick@Nite has yet to announce that they have acquired. Everything else they have announced (Mad About You, Home Improvement and The Nanny).

Can you please tell me where you heard about Grace Under Fire? I know for a fact it is not true, but I can't say anything more on that.
And Nick@Nite has no plans at all to change their format to one hour shows, too. Sitcoms only is their current plan and future plan, too.

It is not true, that's all I can say for now. I remember you said Melrose Place was coming to TNN in 2006 (http://www.sitcomsonline.com/boards/showthread.php?t=25813). So if that is the same source, I wouldn't believe him/her. Thanks for replying.

I think Nick should stay in the 90's for about 15 years... they got too close to the present in such short time. 10 years ago, the ONLY shows that lasted past 1980 on the network were Mork And Mindy and Taxi. Yet The Cosby Show and Who's The Boss are the only shows that ended before 95 on the network. N@N is supposed to be a last stop for shows after lengthy runs in syndication and TBS/etc.... The way N@N's going, I wouldn't be too shocked to see Friends on the network in give or take three years.

It's OK to be wrong, but you also said a "rumor" about Grace Under Fire, too, but not for Melrose Place.
theres good news and bad news. the good news is that TNN just bought the rights to MELROSE PLACE. the bad news is that it won't start airing it until the year 2006.

Let's just forget this.
