Currently, I am taking an online course for a masters in sociology. We have formed different Special Interest Groups and one of the SIG's I am in is titled "Television and Society." The goal of this group is to research wether "TV reflects Society or Society reflects TV."
The group has been using this website as a reference for our research. What do you guys think? I would love your input and I am excited to join the Seinfeld forum. I am in the process of watching the season 3 episodes. Love me some Seinfeld!!
Thanks for your time and I look forward to your input!!!

Sounds like we are being used as guinea pigs for your class. Can you be more specific on what you are looking for?
Also, you should probably post this as a new thread in the room because I am not sure how many people will find it in this Welcome To The Board thread.
As to the question I think it is almost half of each, but it is almost a chicken v. egg type situation. For us hard core fans, we probable reflect the show more than the show reflects us.

Thank you for your suggestion. I will post it in the regular forum. I don't mean to make you feel like I am just using the people of the Seinfeld forum. I am a true fan and will more than likely continue to "hang around" even after the class is over. Again, thank you so much for your input!! Take care!
