THIS… IS… SEINJEOPARDY 3! - the enSeinclopedia
Welcome to the game. This is part 3, continued from SeinJeopardy 2 (http://www.sitcomsonline.com/boards/showthread.php?t=101734) and originally from the
SeinJeopardy thread (http://www.sitcomsonline.com/boards/showthread.php?s=&threadid=46486) started 09/27/02

Rules of Engagement:
The player in control gives a clue/"answer."
The repsonding player that gives the correct "question" takes control of the game & leaves the next clue/answer.
Your response (really your "question") needs to be confirmed as correct by the player in control, the standard pass it along format.

For a complete & official correct response, you would list the episode referenced with the question. Keepin' it real.

Let's use the 24 rule:
If 24 hours passes without a post, ANYONE may take control of the game by leaving a clue.

If you ask a Q, watch for & confirm correct answers so you pass control of the game, keep it moving (you can also let them know when they are wrong).

If 24 hours passes and a correct response has not been posted, the player in control can leave additional clues/hints; or, if no one can get it he can reveal the correct response, & submit a new Q & the games roles on.

If 24 passes after a correct answer has been posted, yet it has not received confirmation by the player in control, other players can confirm it...(and/or)I will monitor the game close enough to avoid this, & I can confirm most answers.

Know the answer to the clue you leave, and be able to reference it to an episode.

Keep the questions about Seinfeld the show, the plots & such trivia.

SAMPLE:
I leave the answer:
He is Jerry's next door neighbor, nabs grub from Jerry's frig & is known for his 'grand' entrances.

The next poster would answer: 'Who is Kramer?"
and I confirm it's correct & that player leaves next clue & bla bla bla.....
got it :)

Have fun, that's what this is all about.

NEW PLAYERS WELCOME!
For the last several hundred posts the game has come down to myself and Seinatra ( :notworthy ).
We play out of site tradition and to keep the SeinChops up, but mostly for fun
If you want to join the game, make a post saying so, we would love new players.

Game 2 left off with Seinatra in control.

Seinatra

Let's start #3 on a difficult note:

Kramer once claimed that this person awakened him from sleep on more than one occasion.

Maestro
02-28-2005, 05:23 PM
Who is the lovely Emily?
The Money

Seinatra
02-28-2005, 06:00 PM
Well she certainly disrupted his 'solid sack time', and while there was a visual showing of him having trouble sleeping due to her, I'm not sure that Kramer actually claimed the avatar-extroidinaire Emily awakened him from sleep.

It is very close, and probably fits except for the most anal of explanations such as I gave above, but not what I was looking for. ;)

Maestro
03-02-2005, 07:58 AM
Dang... 1st clue of Jep 3 & busy boy needs a hint already...

THat's exciteing & should draw some players  :D

Seinatra
03-02-2005, 03:32 PM
Well of all of the Seinfeld episodes, I didn't think I could stump you with this one.

Maestro
03-03-2005, 08:02 PM
Well of all of the Seinfeld episodes...
So I check the name sake ep
113 The Maestro

then some favs
14 The Deal
057 The Outing
058 The Old Man...

065 The Mango, 074 The Cigar Store Indian, 086 The Opposite & more from the illustrious season 5.

The evermentioned
164 The Betrayal

& I don't think its in one of the The Clip Show(s) or Highlights of a Hundred ;)

I'm tryin', I just don't have the SeinSnap I should... 'still distracted & busier 'n shiznit.

I'm thinking Maestro approved eps... dog gone...

Seinatra
03-03-2005, 09:58 PM
It was a Maestro approved epi, one I thought was at the top of your list. You did mention it in your post.

http://www.sitcomsonline.com/boards/showthread.php?t=95196&highlight=mango

It was a she that was waking Kramer up

Maestro
03-04-2005, 12:17 AM
Who is Elaine?
065 The Mango

Gad... I just saw that not long ago too

w/ her noisy fake orgasms - another reason to love Elaine

Seinatra
03-04-2005, 03:37 PM
Elaine was the culprit. Maestro controls.

Maestro
03-04-2005, 05:35 PM
new answer:
Kramer feels the need to use cuss words while receiving services from this [type of] professional.

Seinatra
03-04-2005, 05:43 PM
What is a hooker?

Maestro
03-04-2005, 06:48 PM
Not a hooker.

Seinatra
03-04-2005, 09:53 PM
What is a dentist?
The Jimmy?

Heads up - flying expletives.

Maestro
03-04-2005, 11:41 PM
Confirm all correct.

I think a pretty funny exchange between Jer & Kramer, K-man's lip is all novacained up and they're talking about Whatley the adults-only dentist:

JERRY: "You find you need to use a lot of obscenities at the dentist.

KRAMER: "He..he... When they pull that needle out I let the expletives fly."

Seinatra
03-04-2005, 11:55 PM
These are the only two episodes where Jerry uses his oft-seen computer.

Maestro
03-05-2005, 11:05 PM
What is 76 The Stall and 170 The Strongbox?

Good one, that's a "classic" triv question. I had The Stall but could not get the Fredo ep even though I'd seen this before.
You said its getting harder to post clues but your recent have been quality stuff... as usual

Seinatra
03-06-2005, 12:29 AM
Hmmm - I had it as The Stall and a different episode, The Wizard. I thought it was The Wizard, but I can't remember. If your vault tells you it was The Strongbox, I won't argue.

Maestro
03-06-2005, 02:45 PM
Ya, The Vault is indicating that.
The Strongbox is 170, the ep right before The Wizard. In The Wizard they do refer to the device as the wizard computer, maybe that came into play.

There is a comment at the end of The Strongbox synopsis on TheNewsGuy(Mike)'s episode guide ( http://membres.lycos.fr/tnguym/Seinfeld_2s.html? ) coroberating the findings.

Now to leave a clue...

Maestro
03-06-2005, 05:28 PM
that's weird, my clue post from earlier doesn't seem to be here, so...

new answer:
According to the JerMeister (& correct on my behalf), men will ALWAYS give up this for sex.

Seinatra
03-06-2005, 08:56 PM
What is sleep?
(The smelly car)

Maestro
03-07-2005, 12:51 AM
:sleep2:
That is correct.

Seinatra
03-07-2005, 10:00 AM
Despite Jerry and our Maestro's views to the contrary, this character actually disproved Jerry's theory that a man would always give this up for sex.

Maestro
03-07-2005, 05:37 PM
I don't think this is it, but its a start...

Who is Kramer?
The Friar's Club

When he wouldn't wake up to an amorous Connie, due to his Da Vinci sleep routine.

Seinatra
03-07-2005, 06:01 PM
You've got the right character in the K-Man, and that answer prob fits, but this was one incident where K-Man was actually awake and made the decision of sleep over sex, rather than being to exhausted to make the choice.

In the answer I am looking for, he didn't turn down sex altogether, just more sex.

Maestro
03-07-2005, 06:53 PM
You can't be talking about the orgasm faking Kramer  I was going to hit you with some variation of that a question or 2 back.

Who is Kramer after he fakes it?
The Mango

Another great tid-bit from the quality ep, he faked it - nice character touch

Seinatra
03-07-2005, 09:18 PM
Correct, The Mango is more trivia rich than I thought.

Maestro
03-07-2005, 10:53 PM
new answer:
Frank [Costanza] thought NBC treated Jerry like this composer.

Seinatra
03-07-2005, 11:29 PM
Who is Tuscaninni?
("The ?", can't come up with an epi)

(The only reason that comes to me is that I think he was a Who Am I pic)

Maestro
03-08-2005, 08:29 AM
Who is [Arturo] Toscanini? is correct.
126 The Shower head.

Control to you Seinatra
Of course a tie-in/ep title would be required for a final-tourney victory ;)

Seinatra
03-08-2005, 03:45 PM
Despite the fact that this had been going on for three decades, it was new news to Mortimer Seinfeld. (Jerry's dad)

Maestro
03-08-2005, 06:44 PM
What is the taping The Tonight Show in the afternoon [even though it airs at 2330 hours]?
The Shower Head

I didn't have to go too far (ep wise) on that one :) I can hear him [typically] yelling it to Helen.

Seinatra
03-08-2005, 11:28 PM
Confirm.

Maestro
03-09-2005, 12:39 AM
New answer:
This is Jerry's 2 word phrase meaning the *belly size* of a pregnant woman.

Seinatra
03-09-2005, 05:04 PM
I recall Jerry being worried about breakage at his house...

What is Fetal Girth?
The Baby Shower

Maestro
03-09-2005, 05:27 PM
Fetal girth :D

You are correct and in control Seinatra

My friend, there has some pretty serious seinBS referenced in this game, another season or 2 and this game we'll be ready for syndication ;)

Seinatra
03-09-2005, 05:31 PM
Being concerned about George as any good friend would be, Jerry didn't think it would be a good idea for George to watch this.

Edit: Edited for vagueness.

Maestro
03-09-2005, 08:08 PM
Is it a film?

Seinatra
03-09-2005, 08:15 PM
I don't think it would be classified as a film, but I can't be 100% sure.

It's been awhile:

Man... I'm bogging down both threads!

Well, I haven't got this "question" yet, but, I have to stand down for a couple of days; my internet will be turned off today in preparation for our relocation. I'm moving about 4 miles from here but its the full ball buster of a 4 bedroom and a 2 car full of 'stuff.' Excited about the move but, who likes moving///? That's one of the reasons I've been so busy.

So, I'll post when I get logged back on, hopefully by the end of the weekend, but I have a crapload of work to do. Hopefully ( ) I
ll come back to a game in ful stride and I'll have trouble edging back in ;)

That's for the heads up on the other thread from mouseville.

Shoot... no Monk's (http://www.sitcomsonline.com/boards/showthread.php?s=&threadid=98327&highlight=show) for a few days... mmnnn...

Seinatra
03-11-2005, 02:54 PM
I'm sure we will be waiting on you, unless someone else wants to jump in on this show that Jerry told George NOT to watch.

Maestro
03-23-2005, 12:41 AM
Hmnnn... the photo is the clue?

What is Melrose Place?

Dutabi84

Ah yes the documentary channel or something.

I believe it was a special on heart attacks.

"I also told him to not watch a show on anorexia. He watched it, and he ate like a pig for weeks!"

Correct Dutabi. You are up.

WB Maestro - the pic was not a clue, just a funny pic. Good guess Treeman - welcome to the game.

Kramer went to a strip club with these two well-known figures.

Seinatra

Who are Spike Lee and Reggie Miller (who I hope to see play live on Monday)?

Daboss94

What condiment did George get on his mother's bra while at the dinner table?

Dutabi84
03-24-2005, 03:20 PM
Who are Spike Lee and Reggie Miller (who I hope to see play live on Monday)?

That is correct. I hope Stephen Jackson tears the arena down! (only for my fantasy team, of course)

Daboss, correctly give an answer, and you can have your turn.

Seinatra
03-25-2005, 05:43 PM
Yes, Daboss, you have to post a correct 'question' to the posted 'answer' in order to get control of the board. To answer your question, I believe it was ketchup.

New Answer:
This somewhat elderly lady didn't think Jerry would ever get married.

Maestro
03-27-2005, 04:40 PM

Seinatra

Seinatra
03-29-2005, 11:19 AM
Morty told Jerry that this lady didn't think he would get married.

Maestro
03-30-2005, 07:28 PM
Who is Helen Seinfeld?
081 The Wife

I was just comming 'round to it, then read your Morty clue.

(dang, now to come up with a clue... I haven't watched an ep in weeks... & w/ my short term.... hmmnnnn.....)

Helen is correct. I needed to throw an owed to Mortimer answer in there.

Of course from 047 The Bubble Boy.

After experiencing them firsthand, Kramer concluded this gal and silky fingers.

Maestro
04-02-2005, 12:47 AM
Who is Karen the Masseuse?
The Masseuse

I would have said George 'til you said gal.

Seinatra
04-02-2005, 12:21 PM
Correct.

My question was messed up, I tried editing it for clarity and left out some words. I meant it to say "this gal had soft and silky fingers." Good get.

Ravioli.

Seinatra
04-05-2005, 09:08 PM
What was Kramer's choice of pasta for his George sculpture?

Maestro
04-05-2005, 10:43 PM
That probably too easy response is correct.
But, I guess if it was too easy you would have also included "107 The Fusilli Jerry" :p

Seinatra
04-06-2005, 05:01 PM
I have been derelict in my episode listing.

New Answer:
Kramer thought Elaine's consumption of this was tantamount to making love.

What is lobster bisque?
The Yada Yada

Seinatra
04-06-2005, 10:13 PM
I am going to have to say no to that response, since Kramer wasn't involved in it. I am looking for something Kramer said to Elaine. At least I think he said it, but after more searching I don't see any verification anywhere - just Nada, Nada and Nada.

Maestro
04-07-2005, 12:29 AM
What is Supreme Flounder?

Seinatra
04-07-2005, 09:00 AM
Not that I recall. "Kramer spilled Ammonia"

The food item in question is more of a snack, sweet-type food. It is a name brand item, smaller than a Drake's Coffee Cake, but larger than a Jr. Mint.

Seinatra
04-11-2005, 05:45 PM
Think brand name cookie.

What are Snackwell cookies?

Seinatra
04-13-2005, 02:57 PM
I was looking for "What are Oreo's?"

I recall a scene where the gang is in J's apartment and Elaine denies liking cookies or Oreos and then Kramer says to Elaine something to the effect of, "You don't like Oreos?? The way you (and then he motions like he is stuffing cookies in his mouth) eat them its like your having sex with them!"

Do you, or anyone, recall this scene? I find no evidence it exists, but I remember it from somewhere. Let me know.

Maestro
04-13-2005, 06:26 PM
 Good one.

Oh, it exsists.

>>>KRAMER: You don't eat Oreos? (acts out eating Oreos) The way you break them open? You're (does a bunch of licking motions) ~ practically having sex with them.<<<

From the 2nd scene in 71 The Non-Fat Yogurt

Hit me w/ another clue, I'll try to get one :)

Seinatra
04-13-2005, 11:13 PM
Thanks, that was driving me crazy. Stumped by my own clue, that's a new one. "Oreos" shows up, but not "Oreo", that's why I couldn't find it.
