Viewers will go on a wild ride with the jet-set actress as she travels from Hollywood to Miami to New York to Texas, replete with an entourage of managers, publicists and film crew in tow. Viewers will get a rare behind-the-scenes look at the actress, who skyrocketed to super-stardom in 1976 courtesy of her role in Charlie's Angels and further cemented her reputation as a sex symbol with the 1977 release of a poster featuring her in a one-piece swimsuit. Among the highlights expected to be featured in Chasing Farrah include: Farrah on the town in Miami as she party-hops and poses for the paparazzi; her visit to the U.S. Open in New York- where the tennis-loving Farrah caused a stir among such luminaries as Martina Navratilova and Maria Sharapova; and Farrah's encounter with a group of New York City Firemen, whom she meets when her Manhattan shopping spree comes to a halt when she passes a store that's on fire. The special will also showcase Farrah as she deals with such ordinary issues as searching for a lost wallet, visiting her parents and getting head-to-toe salon treatments.

The tabloids. Millions of fans. Would-be suitors. Hollywood producers. Money-hungry merchandisers. Other celebrities. Even our own camera crew. From LA to Miami to New York, everyone is chasing Farrah. But what is it we want from her? Another picture? Another autograph? Another headline? To paraphrase her poetry, all we want is 'everything'. And this is our chance to get it. A reality show about the making of a reality show starring Farrah Fawcett, this series will allow us a look into the life of the most photographed woman in the world. And what we will see is that the actress, artist and icon is also a real person.

I recorded Part 3 of: "The Odyssey" (from Discovery Kids Channel) where Lassie finally returns at the end and let me tell you, I almost cried seeing Timmy and Lassie reunite! That's got to be one of the greatest moments in television history! :crying: :dog:

Does anyone know if it made the list of TV Guide's 50 Greatest TV Moments?

I hope all three "Lassie" series will become part of TV Land's regular schedule!

NO! I don't see anything on this thread saying Lassie is joining the line-up. Do you?? It's an anniversary marathon. 3 sitcoms are coming later this year (July, Aug, Nov) with 3 more by next year. Majority will be VERY happy.

The Lassie marathon is just a programming *stunt*. It's a one-time airing of those episodes. Liberty (the Discovery family of networks, specifically) owns rerun rights to Lassie for the longhaul. It's VERY similar to what TV Land did with Miami Vice THIS month.

Well the 3 sitcoms you are talking about I hope are in between the 1975-1985 era.

I just shake my head and laugh because the people who are in charge of programming at TV Land are idiot. Six hours of Westerns and now a Lassie Marathon-LOL TV LAND needs some new people in charge of programming.

The ratings are working. Just because you don't like something that doesn't mean they will change the lineup just for you. I don't like the westerns either; am I bickering? They do well for them, why not air them?

If I'm reading this right, that means will have 6 new sitcoms by 2006??
Are any of these N@N's hand-me-downs?

Pav, I swear I won't pest about what shows are coming after this, but do you have an estimate as to when we will get wind of the news??

They do well for them, why not air them?the point isn't that they are airing westerns; it is the glut of westerns they are showing - i used to enjoy watching TVLand, it used to have a variety of older shows that I enjoyed reliving, now it just seems monotonous.

I like watching the specials and some of the marathons and whatnot, but overall TVLand just isn't as interesting anymore.

And if people DONT complain about it - it definately WONT change.

I really don't watch it as much as I used to.It should have a variety of shows on from different decades but it seems like its the same old shows. Hopefully these new sitcoms will be some that haven't been on national tv for awhile.

Bonanza and Gunsmoke are performing VERY well. The ratings are what they really look at. As far as sitcoms go: Andy Griffith, All in the Family, Three's Company, Leave it to Beaver and Sanford & Son all do well no matter when they air it seems.

Cheers is not included in the group of high rated sitcoms on TV Land? Just wondering since it airs around those shows. Is the order you named Andy Griffith - Sanford and Son the order they perform in for the most part?

I am not really a fan of TV Land's current schedule. However, it seems to be one of the most successful ones they've created in recent times since many parts of it have not been changed since August. I kind of miss the days when there were those "last minute changes" where almost the entire schedule was changed...it kept it interesting.

If they're going to show all those milestone Lassie episodes (first episode, Timmy's first episode, Jeff's last episode), then you'd think they could show the episode where Timmy and his family abandon Lassie when they move overseas. One of the saddest episodes of the series.

I sure as hell hope they are some good shows like:
My Three Sons, Family Affair, Patty Duke, Car 54, Ann Sothern, That Girl, Dobie Gillis, et. al. since NO channel shows these anymore and I can find all of the crap on N@N on about 6 other channels. But I'm not holding my breath.
TVLand has really went down the toilet IMHO. I have not tuned in for months now and do not plan to unless I see some real improvement. As for N@N well, I haven't tuned in to them for about 7 years or so
