Do any of you teens still dare to play this,I actually started playing
this back in elementary school. Some of my friends would tell if you
moved that Bloody Mary would scratch you,I always moved and nothing
ever happened to me, What a dumb game !

We used to play Bloody Mary all the time at school, and at my friend's houses. Nothing ever happened, of course, but we sure scared ourselves silly.

My friends and I did it once in the woods. That was the scariest day ever. We turned around and saw this red figure in the shadows, so we screamed. Then our friend, who had been about a mile away when we had done it, came SPRINTING up to us, and went, "Oh my God, you guys, I stopped running for a minute and heard someone breathing behind me." And we hadn't even said a THING to her.
It was seriously scariest ever.

Someone scared me crapless with this game in first grade. To this day, I have a severe psychological fear of mirrors. I can't look at one in the dark. When I get up in the middle of the night to use the bathroom, I wake my mother up. Yeah I have issues. But really, dark rooms and mirrors don't mix.

Agh no. It's kinda like a double edged sword isn't it anyways? If Bloody Mary is there you are a goner but if she isn't there you face is all bloody. That's what I was told anyways.

ME TOO. I've never tried it but because of all the stories i've heard about it i can't look at mirrors in the dark, and i especially can't go in the bathroom without the light on. sometimes i accidently hit the light switch and frantically feel around for it while breathing hard. it's the scariest thing i could imagine happening to me. for about a year i couldn't even talk about it. i'm really interested in the whole idea, but i get terrified at the thought of visiting a web site about it. i'm gonna go get some ice cream, i haven't opened the carton my dad got yesterday.

If you don't want to know then skip this post.
First of all, it usually takes several times before there are any results. what we did was go into a bathroom (or any room with a mirror) shut the door and turn out the lights. You close your eyes, say "Bloody Mary" three times then look into the mirror. The mirror is pitch black...no reflection at all. Then you'll see a small red spot that gets bigger and bigger until you can make out the face. It is the face of a woman with blood all over the face from cuts.
When we tried to open the door to run it wouldn't open. The door knob would turn but the door itself would not open. A friend heard us screaming and came to open the door. It took her a few seconds but she finally got it open.
I never tried it again.

It's weird. The way they do it around here is for you to take a mirror, go and sit in a dark closet, close the door and say Bloody Mary three times. We dared a friend to do it, but when he got to two, he started screaming and yelling for us to let him out...probably too freaked out to finish it. No one ever finished it, so we don't know if it really works or not. I personally believe nothing happens, but that still doesn't stop me from not doing it, for some strange reason. ;)

I know that nothing would REALLY happen, but i am a believer in spirits, and maybe I'd invite evil spirits in,thats just my opinion ;)

That's what I say,Some of my friends are so stupid, Like one of
my friends once told us that her brother dialed 666 at midnight and that
a demonic voice answered the phone!, Stupid!,Her brother was probably
drunk or high or suffering from a mental illness or something!

They say that the only way to overcome a tremendous fear is to actually accomplish it. One of these nights, I'm going to try it. If nothing happens, well then I've overcome my fear. If something does happen, I obviously won't be here anymore

Maybe you just imagined it? I mean if it took a few tries than maybe you just saw what you wanted or expected to see in your mind. ;)
 But if that really happened I wouldn't be surprised because I heard other stories about it happening (most of them sounded fake though) it would be kind of cool that is if I were to try it with a bunch of other people
though.

No...there was no imagining it. I remember it like it was yesterday even though it was over 20 years ago.
I have noticed that it works for some people and not others. Maybe it only works for people that believe in spirits or are somehow...connected to spirits somehow. I don't know, all I know is that that was real.

i kind of want to try it too, just so i'll get over it if nothing happens, plus it would be a really cool experience if i make it out alive. lolllz. but meangya, i'm WAY too scared. the thought of just being in the bathroom with the lights out is horrifying enough. i would CRY if i were forced to do it.
