I think it goes on sale soon, if it's not out already. Even though this was a charity song, this was a classic. You had 40 something of the greatest artists who were hot at the time got together for one event. I taped this off of vh-1 a few years ago. They all worked together like they all worked together before. The chemistry was great. My favorite part was when Stevie Wonder and Bruce Springsteen started singing together. That was historic.

I'm going to get it soon. The tape I recorded it on is getting old, so I want to upgrade. I wish Prince would have showed up. Seeing him and Michael Jackson on the same stage would have been more than a treat.

We Are The World is a classic song. Another classic song where a lot of artists got together is Self Destruction song that had KRS One, Kool Moe Dee, Doug E Fresh, Chuck D, Heavy D, MC Lyte, Stetsasonic on it. We're All In The Same Gang is a classic song where a lot of rappers got together to stop the violence such as NWA, MC Hammer, Above The Law, Tone Loc, Ice T.

I have the record of "We Are the World" and also on a 45. It was a charity single from 20 years ago. I always loved that song. I was posted on my message board a week ago that New York's Hot 97 fired Ms. Jones and her morning team for playing a parody of "We Are the World" called the "Tsunami Song" becuase it was too offensive. If you want to read my post here it is.

And here is a bizarre aircheck the one's that I posted is on my forum.

Miss Jones hasn't been fired by Hot 97. She was suspended.
