What is your pet peeve's at hate movies?
In no order.
1. Teen agers being nosiy, throwing things.
2.Sticky Floors
3.Baby's crying. Who would take a baby to a movie anyways?
4.Prices,On movie tickets,pop-corn,pop,candy.I never buy any anyways just soda.
5.People talking, telling whats going to happen.
6.Also just making comments about the movie like who is he? I know I seen him/her before.
7.Pre-views,sometimes there just too many of them.
8.Commercials,if we want to see them I would have stayed at home.
9,#4, Prices at the movies sky high,I just wait untill they caome to DVD,nowdays they seem to come a lot faster on DVD/VEDIO.
10.People who sit in front with a hat or just anything so you can't see the movie.

* Tall people sitting in front of me.
* Too cold or too warm in the theater.
* People who talk, even during the trailers.
* People who arrive late and just have to sit in your aisle.
* Volume too loud or too low on the theater speakers.
* Of course, a lousy movie.

When people bring their small children or babies to a rated R movie...

People who bring their small children to the theater and when they make noise, do little effort to stop.
People who talk (who doesn't?)
I haven't had too many bad experiences in the theater, though.

Teenagers making out in the seat in front (ARGH,Get a room!) My boyfriend just couldn't help himself once, and said to these 2 kids,"Do you want a blanket,a condom?" Its funny when he does that but i dont like it because it just causes trouble!
The PRICES-the tickets, the FOOD-its a joke, and at my theatre, they check your bag and you get busted if you bring food in.
A movie that is so boring,I fall asleep. Then when you wake up,its halfway through or at the end,and you've wasted money.I saw Xmen 2,and found it so boring (its just not my kind of movie) that i slept the whole time,so i basically paid $12 to sleep in the cinema. Oh well,YOU LEARN.

When people talk loudly. If you feel the need to whisper, fine. Whispering doesn't bother me. But don't talk at normal volume. My significant other is guilty on that one. I always sit there gritting my teeth as he's yelling in my ear.

when people kick your seat, or sit in front of you so you can't put your feet on that seat to relax more :snob: Also, when the people I GO with are noisy. I'm such a kiss ass to other people, and I don't want them to get mad and I'm constantly telling my sister and stuff to shut the hell up so we don't get in trouble. That makes me nervous. Oh, and the popcorn smell. Otherwise, I love it there.

i agree with everybody here but i did have one funny expierence involing people talking at the movies and they were almost as funny as the movie i was watching so i culdnt get too mad . it happend when i went to see waynes world and i lived in a really small town at that time so it was the only movie showing. anyway these 2 elderly ladies went to see the movie the same day i did and one they were both trying to figure out the plot of the movie . and to try and understand waynespeak like were not worthy and i think im going to hurl ect. they were also both hard of hearing and so one would ask the other what did he say and so the ladies were say things out of waynes world and trust me when 2 ladies in ther 70s are saying things like that and you can hear them its alot funnier than even mike myers and dana carvey.

# People shouldn't be allowed to take there babies into the cinema.
# People talking. Argh, it's annoying.
# People walking in and out of the cinema, Do what you have to do before the movie starts.
# When I can't see the screen because there is a tall person in front of me.
# When the temp is too hot or too cold.
# The price of the food. And not being allowed to take in food you got elsewhere.

My number one gripe would have to be when people kick the back of your chair.

I agree, but I'm glad it doesn't happen too often because most of the time I try to sit in the very back.

Omg..I have PLENTY!!
-People who talk during a movie...wtf?! Who comes to a movie to talk..geez!!
-People who tend to shout out comments towards the movie like "No don't go in there!!' or "C'mon....shoot him already!!" Wtf?!
-People who decide to sit right in front of me out of the hundreds of other good seats in the theater especially if it's some tall dude or a woman with big hair.
-People who sit behind me and kick my chair....AHHHH!!
-People who after seeing a theatrical trailer(out of the hundreds they show) are all "Ohh I want to see that...blah blah blah!!!"
-Cell phone ringing...WTF???
-People who munch on their popcorn with such exxageration
-The disgusting prices!! I sneak my food in almost all the time ;)
-The rude movie theater workers
-The sticky nasty floors...my feet always get stuck to the ground
-The nasty bathrooms(That long line!!)
-Sometimes the volume is so high I have to cover my ears
-The ghetto uncomfortable seats that are broken and squeak
-The fact that some theaters have no cup holders
-The people that get up every 5 minutes to do who knows what causing me to get up and disrupt me from watching the movie
-The annoying children(Who the hell brings young children to see scary R rated movies?? What's wrong with you parents??)
-The fact that a ticket is $10.50
-And last but not least.....When the movie you want to see so badly is sold out

This may not be AT the movies, but is definitely a pet peeve ABOUT movies. I just bought an inexpensive DVD this evening, "Most Wanted" with Keenen Ivory Wayans and Jon Voight. Feeling lucky, I went to Safeway and was already to buy a nice used copy of "Man on Fire" with Denzel Washington. Just as I was about to buy it, the guy at the checkstand said it was a great movie, but felt inclined to TELL ME THE ENDING. Seeing that one of my
Ten Commandments is Thou Shalt Not Tell Movie Endings, I decided NOT to buy it. Thanks for giving away the ending, Mr. Silly Clerk, you just lost a sale.
I imagine that I'll see it eventually, but I want to be kept in suspense next time.
"Most Wanted" was good, though.

Here are my gripes:
People who talk during the film (whether it's the person I'm with or someone else, it really PISSES me off!)
People talking on their cell phones and/or cell phones ringing
Bratty, noisy children who aren't controlled by their parents
Teenagers that come in big groups with their friends and talk, laugh, scream and make their immature commentary throughout the movie.
When a theater is nearly empty, yet someone tall insists on sitting directly in front of me
When a movie theater is overcrowded. I find it hard to enjoy the movie if that's the case :(
