Lo and behold! -- an envelope from Lily Tomlin! I'd written to her 8+ months ago (April 2004) for an autographed pic. It's a really lovely pic of her, too. And I love her handwriting. :D

I LOVED her in "9 to 5". She kicked so much ass in that movie. :D

That happened to my mother too. She can't wear them at all. I would try them myself but I can't get my finger too close to my eye without wigging out.

The cat eye lenses are on back order.

So far so good. They feel alright I guess. I have to take them out in an hour or so to give my eyes a rest.

Since I have astigmatism, the eye guy had a bit of trouble finding the right prescription. Next week he'll replace the ones I'm wearing now with a pair that is tweaked a bit better for my sight.

So since I haven't bumped into any furniture or walked into any traffic (sober this time) I guess I'm fine.

I had bright turquoise ones for years. Tons of people would stare at my eyes like I was an alien. :lol: But then I was diagnosed with astigmatism and I can't get colored contacts anymore. :( Glad I already had blue eyes to start with.
