How did you get to talk to Kellie? Before or after the show? Did you just wait by the buses? I'm thinking about going to one of the FL shows. They're playing here at the beginning of Aug. I liked alot of the performers from this season, as opposed to past seasons

after the show, we waited by the buses and kellie, paris, and lisa all came out and signed autographs and stuff. secuity didnt let the guys come out, but they waved from the buses/behind the fence.
i DEFINITLEY recommend going, it was a REALLY good concert.

I just got off from work and went over to Wal-Mart to buy some electronic things. I looked in the $5.50 movie bin, and I found the season 1 two-disc set for "The Jeff Foxworthy Show." I picked it up!! But.... I was surprised... for $5.50??? Nice!! I couldn't resist getting it. I like the show, and season 1 is my favorite out of the two seasons. Cool!!

Thanks, EmoJoe!! I wonder if maybe the guys got mobbed at previous shows, that's why they didn't come out. I know I'd be tackling me some Chris Daughtry!!
Well, not really, I wouldn't want to do anything to get me in trouble!:D
Were you able to get photos taken with them? If given a choice, I rather have a photo than an autograph.

Anyway, I just had the BEST pizza ever  It was plain Sicilian pizza from this place called Mozzarella's that just opened up down the block from me. The cheese tasted fresh and natural, the crust was slightly crunchy, and the sauce was so tangy and GOOD--pretty much my perfect pizza :)

Really? That's weird... if you're going in November, can you take me with you? j/k I wouldn't worry about it too much though. Maui is a really pretty place, just go to sleep on the way there. Or just read a book, listen to music, work a crossword puzzle, or just something to occupy your mind so you wont think about it. That's what I usually do. :)

They're seriously HUGE. I figure it's been at least 1 1/2 hours since I started burning this one, and it's almooooooost done, which will be in approximately 30 minutes. They're better than the wimpy skinny kind.
The only problem I have at the moment is that I have a crappy incense holder. I need to either make my own, or buy a better holder. :( I can't believe how cheap they are ($3/bag of 50 gigantic sticks). I'm gonna stock up next time I go to Hot Topic again.

Grandma got run over by a reindeer.
Walking home from our house Christmas eve.
You can say there's no such thing as Santa,
but as for me and grandpa we believe.
She'd been drinking too much eggnog,
and we begged her not to go.
But she forgot her medication, and she
staggered out the door into the snow.
When we found her Christmas morning,
at the scene of the attack,
she had hoof-prints on her forehead,
and incriminating Claus marks on her back.

I read her book when it first came out, and OMG it was so hilarious. I can't believe Amazon has the hardcover edition for only $8. How sweet is that?!

I know that feeling. I got braces in 10th grade and in 12th grade I got them off. I couldn't wait. I hated having braces. I didn't want them to begin with. They made me even more unattractive then I already was.
I know what you mean. I told my mom and dad that I already had enough probalems and if I got braces they should have to wear them too! I hated it too, but now it's all over with for me!
At the Orthodontist there's a woman named Becky who has been the one I've seen every time I've went in for the past 2 1/2 years. She's the one that took 'em off and she had a suprise for me when it was done. (It took around three hours) My two front teeth were chipped, she fixed those and wouldn't let me look in the mirror until my appointment was over. It was very worth it, my teeth are so pretty now! :D Afterwards, she gave a gift bag from her. It had a box of the Crest White Strips, a big pack of Skittles, some Starbursts, Jolly Ranchers, Caramel Cubes, and a Snickers bar! I'm glad I had such a nice lady work on my teeth for the past couple years! :D

Now my hair is shoulder-length again...they haven't been shoulder-length since 2004. I also have bangs again... Woohoo! ;) I went for a layered cut...it looks great on me :D

Actually Mona, as far as feeling better, it happened pretty much overnight. Last summer there was this girl who used me to get over her boyfriend. She told me that she had feelings for me and that she was having these dreams about me. Than I find out that she never had feelings for me and that all along she was dating this guy that both of us knew. I was heartbroken. This girl just took my heart and stomped all over it. The problem was that I had feelings for her but after what she did I was also totally p***ed off at her. The conflicting feelings were impossible to deal with and it just tore me apart. I was full of so much hurt and anger and I turrned into a really depressed and angry person. I started treating others like s**t. Than earlier this year I just realized what this person had done to me. I just got sick and tired of feeling bad and I didn't like the person I had turned into. So I just put this girl behind me and decided to move on with my life. And in a matter of a couple of days I began to feel much better.

Wow! I attended this morning's yard sale that was advertised via email at my college. I bought some great stuff....cheap!
-Three DVD movies (In America, Failure to Launch, and What a Girl Wants) for $2 each. Too bad I didn't know any "Charmed" fans. There were about 3-4 season sets for $2 each! I didn't think about purchasing them, though. Someone had already taken them shortly after I picked out my movies. Sorry.
-a large two-door clear plastic bin drawer for $5
-a high res Canon USB flatbed scanner for $10
-a Bubble Bliss Plus footbath machine for $5
-a two-drawer metal filing cabinet for $5
-a USB multi-pocket HUB for $5 (brand new!)
-a "Hot & Spicy Salsa Hits" CD for $1
-a heavy duty 3-quart sauce pan for $2
Wheeee.... It's been such a morning!! All these great buys for $33! :D

Yeah, jogging and walking are the best forms of keeping in shape. I got worried with my own health because I have heart-related conditions on my paternal side, and I have diabetes running on my maternal side. That was enough of a wakeup call for me to keep in shape to reduce the risks soooo much. And, it's also quite relaxing while listening to music. :)

Thanks for the positivity. :) I am just honestly sooooo nervous. He is in my Friends list, and I don't want to scare him away. I just can't find the right words to let him know this. I sent him a comment complimenting him on his smile being sooooo sweet. I'll have to wait if he says anything. I don't know how much of an obvious hint that would be. Probably not much at all. If not, then I will have to send him a message being direct. I am just sooooooooo scared out of my freakin' mind.

"It's gonna take a lotta love
To change the way things are
It's gonna take a lotta love
Or we won't get too far
So if you look in my direction
And we don't see eye to eye
My heart needs protection and so do I"

I found not one, but BOTH of my stepsisters on myspace today! I was hunting down one of the particular stepsisters for MONTHS on end, and decided to get more vigorous about my searching today. It took 45 minutes and browsing through 10 pages of results, but I did it! She was the last person at the bottom of the last page. But, damn, am I glad I found her.
Both of my stepsisters live out-of-state now (one of them lives in southern California...), and I've been searching high and low for 'em online so that I can keep in touch with them, because I have had no way of contacting them. This made me a very happy girl. :)

Woohoo!! I made TWO hangout friends in the last two days!!! I'm soooo damn happy!!! That, and plus my old middle school friend. That's three! :D I am finally getting out and getting a chance to get to know more people in person. I mean, people who are NOT just from work. As pathetic as it sounds for my age, I am starting to have a social life. :woohoo:

Ha, that's like me lately. My social life pretty much floated out the window when I graduated from high school (I graduated at 17), because three months after graduation, I moved back to my hometown (just turned 18). The last time I lived in my hometown, full-time, was when I was 7. So that meant I lost touch with a LOT of my childhood friends and whatnot. It was really hard for me... Being in my hometown again, but this time, feeling like a stranger. A stranger in my own hometown. ohno: Aside from my own extended family in the area and a handful of friends I managed to keep in touch throughout the years, I knew virtually nobody in the area. Gah. When I moved back here, I took a semester off before I went to college, and the first year in college was really tough- I didn't (still don't) live in the dorms, so I just went to class and went straight home- didn't feel like making new friends. But it started getting better within the last year and a half, because I was spending so much time on the school paper and I got to know people...but still not much of a social life. It just got better within the last few months.
Since I turned 21, though, my social life has picked up by leaps and bounds, so I am happy about that. :D

Mmmmm....it smells like fresh rain! I've got my living room window wide open. The rain is coming down in showers right now. And, there's thunder. What a nice evening!
And, today our State Fair begins and will continue for 16 days. I plan on going there this year. I didn't go last year since I was busy moving into my apartment. I don't do the rides, but I like the other attractions and the food. It's a bit pricey, but it's only once a year. Splurge a little. :D

my first day of freshman year went well :woohoo: all of my teachers seem really nice. they seem a LOT better then last year. my spanish teacher was a little...odd...but she still seemed to be a good teacher. i can tell already this year is going to be 1000x better then last year. i'm getting a good vibe from all my teachers while last year i was iffy about most of them (and wound up hating 2 of them, and being just neutral on the rest, besides 1 or 2)
high school is DEFINITLEY gonna take some time getting used to, though. especially lunch. it's so different from middle school lunch  but yeahh so far, high school is looking to be a million times better then middle school was - you're definitley more independent and it seems to be more organized.

I LOVE it when promiscuous whores gets karma blown up in their faces. Serves them right- they should have had their mommies and daddies tape their legs together in the first place.
But, the same goes for promiscuous bastards. Keep your lover boy COVERED and in your pants. Also, stop being such a crybaby about buying condoms- they are only seven ****ing DOLLARS at the grocery store. It's not like condoms cost $50. Condoms are VERY cheap compared to birth control. BC is some seriously expensive ****, and it is even more expensive if you don't have PP in your area that goes by a sliding scale, or some form of insurance. Makes me want to repeatedly kick these guys where it matters the most, with my wedge shoes. :cuss: You can't just pick up BC at the grocery store like you would condoms.
Sorry... This is the feel-good department, not the complaint department. Anyway, I commented about it in your LJ and I'll say it here... you totally pwned that bitch.

I STILL have that blasted swollen gland (wow this is one stubborn bitch), but I woke up this morning for the first time in over a week with it not hurting like a bitch to swallow. So hopefully I'm on the road to recovery. :) I've been plagued all month long with one problem after the other, and this seems to be coming to an end now.
Also, I had a REALLY yummy lunch today...I had my first exam in my religion class today, and I was done with it by 11:15am (that class is 10:30 - 11:45), and my next class wasn't until noon... So a friend and I left campus to go downtown to grab some Quizno's. MAN, that was some AWESOME eating. Mmmm, I love their roman chicken salad.

Today was our Faculty/Staff Meeting, and we all put together a potluck lunch for our dean who's leaving us in the 2nd of October. We had pizza, enchiladas, salad, desserts, soft drinks, chips and salsa, rice, etc. It was a rather nice get-together. I drew some characters and messages on the whiteboard, and she and everyone else liked them. Our dean even took some pictures with her digitial camera. It was really quiant and nice today.
I'm still going to miss her being our dean.
