I'm not a big fan of KISS, but I've heard one song by Gene Simmons on his 1978 solo album was the song from both the movie "Pinocchio" and the TV series "Disneyland" called "When You Wish Upon a Star". That was the only song I heard on that album.

Gene Simmons's Kiss solo album contained antoher song called "She's Radioactive," whose poignant, meaningful lyrics went something like this:
She's radioactive!
She's radioactive!
She's radioactive!
And I gotta make her mine!
This song wasn't so popular in southern Pennsylvania when the Three Mile Island disaster occurred a few months later. :p
The LP also inculded a duet with his then-girlfriend Cher.

:eek2: Yes, he did. It was about the first foray of a KISS member to go corporate, as KISS was getting huge in 1978 and Gene was dating Cher and Diana Ross and all them, he making his way into Hollywood and becoming a big star. Which meant of course in the 80's, that KISS was become this pop metal shadow of its former self as Gene was getting into the movie business and writing fluffier songs. In 1986 he starred in the movie Trick or Treat with Ozzy.

The only Gene Simmons solo work I'm familiar with is his awful, awful cover version of The Prodigy's 'Firestarter'. I believe it's featured on his 'Assh0le' album. That song is so terrible I can't even begin to describe it. And the video that accompanies it is so bad that it's almost painful to watch.
