Once upon a time, the time period was the early to mid-90s, and the next wave of teen heartthrobs were taking over the airwaves. At the time, a lot of the heartthrobs were born between 1977 to 1982.
One of the 'throbs was Devon Sawa. DOB: 7 September 1978. Some of his biggest roles of that time period were Casper, Now and Then and Wild America.
This was Devon in his teen heyday in the mid-90s. Cute as a kid, huh?

They do that here too. And when the Town of Brookhaven doesn't have enough of them, they just offer the job to private contractors and citizens. The rest they let the Suffolk County Department of Public Works and New York State Department of Transportation take care of.

Today, there were nice blue skies, so I biked over to the same area and took these photos. It was exactly 79 degrees when I snapped these shots:

Mostly the shopping centers, the collector roads, the chain stores, any such features that look like they could be anyplace, and thus make it look like no place in particular. :(

This is the MacKenzie house printery Museum in Niagara-on-the-Lake......MacKenzie was an early newpaper printer in the early to mid 1800s and would fight the Govmt of the day (The Family Compact), with his press, until he finally decided that armed rebellion was his last resort and led the ill-fated rebellion of 1837; subsequently, due to the "price on his head", he had to flee to the USA; to be forevermore known as a traitor here in Canada....His home was restored by his Grandson, Mackenzie King, who would reign as Canada's longest-tenured Prime Minister!
