This album is a classic & i like every song on the album. My favorites on the album is Family Reunion, You & Me, She's Only A Woman, Living For The Weekend, I Love Music. Living For The Weekend & I Love Music are my jams. What's ya'll opinions on this album? Some other Ojays albums i like are Back Stabbers, Travelin At The Speed Of Thought, Message In Our Music, So Full Of Love, Identify Yourself. My father met them in person a long time ago when they came to channel 43 to perform when my father worked there. My father has pictures of them in my parents photo book. Channel 43 is a tv station in Cleveland, Ohio. The Ojays are from Canton, Ohio but they moved to Cleveland a long time ago. They got their name The Ojays from a radio dj at 93 FM WZAK who's name is Eddie O'jay i believe. I wish i could get my hands on The Ojays Let Me Touch You album that came out in 87 cause there's a song on there i like called Cause I Want You Back Again. That album isn't available on cd cause it's out of print.

I have the album "Ship Ahoy" on cassette. The songs on that album includes the classic "For Love of Money" and "Put Your Hands Together". I've heard the song "Family Reunion" and it was great. I like the songs "Back Stabbers", "Love Train", "Used to Be My Girl", "I Love Music" and many others.

I like the Ship Ahoy album also. Put Your Hands Together, Got Your Hooks In Me, For The Love Of Money songs are my favorite off that album. Full House did you see them in The Fighting Temptations movie with Cuba Gooding Jr & Beyonce? The lightskin guy who sang with them on their Ship Ahoy album, he died a long time ago. I forgot what he died of. I don't even know his name.

Nope, I haven't seen "The Fighting Temptations". I've heard of Beyonce and Cuba Gooding Jr. from the Main Ingredient. I don't what he died of.:)

Cuba Gooding Jr wasn't in The Main Ingredient, his father was LOL. William Powell who was the lightskin guy in The Ojays in the early 70's died of cancer on May 26, 1977. I also read that he was robbed in his home in Cleveland & the injuries he suffered from that robbery lead to his death. I was listening to The Ojays Family Reunion song yesterday. I love The Ojays music cause a lot of their old songs had messages in them like Back Stabbers, For The Love Of Money & Shiftless, Shady, Jealous Kind Of People.

Picking a favorite O'Jays songs is like picking your favorite potato chip out of the bag!! In other words they have way to many excellent songs and LPs! But at the top of my list would be:

Use ta be my girl
Darling Darling Baby
Where did we go wrong (lp cut)
Back Stabbers
Cry Together
