Those two artists could really belt out some emotional songs. My favorite is Bridge Over Troubled Waters. It's a great song with a wonderful message.
Not too far behind is Scarborough Fair, Mrs. Robinson and The
Sound of Silence.

Mrs. Robinson

America

I really like "Bridge Over Troubled Waters" too, but I can't get that Saturday Night Live episode out of my head when Jan Hooks is a singer and she sees Paul Simon and belts the song out.
Oh the horror.

Yes, it was. Its first Billboard Top 100 pop chart appearance was May 19, 1973. The duo broke up in 1971.
As for my favorite S&G songs, they are "America", "Bridge Over Troubled Water", and "Scarborough Fair."

"In My Little Town," I believe, appeared on both Simon's Still Crazy After All These Years and Garfunkel's Breakaway, both released in 1975. It was their "reunion" single. :)

Heavens, it's probably at least a 20-way tie.
For the moment, I'll say "The Boxer." It's a masterpiece.
You didn't ask, but my favorite Simon solo is hard to decide too....I love "American Tune," and adore "The Obvious Child."
Artie has had some nice solo stuff too....nice collaboration with James and Carly on the great Sam Cooke's "What a Wonderful World."
