I was inspired by the Fairly Odd Parnets superhero the Crimson Chin and the Thunderbirds movie when I cam up with this fanfic. The gang go to Dimmsdale (where Fairly Odd Parents is set) where Scott's television hero, the Crimson Chin is kidnapped and framed by the Hood in a ploy to discredit TV superheroes everywhere and yes, the cast of Fairly Odd Parents are in it.

Chapter 1- An Unwelcome Visit Backstage

"And cut!" Crimson Chin show director Thomas Henderson yelled through the loudspeaker he held.

"How was that, Mr North?" 16 year old Jimmy Clark who played Cleft the boy chin wonder on the show glancing at the show's star Pernell North.

"It was great, old chum." Pernell's eyes sparkled with admiration as he spoke. "I've never fought against that Harry Parker before."

Jimmy grinned at the excitement and enthusiasm in his older co-star's voice.

Pernell rambled on. "I can't wait until this episode airs on TV."

Jimmy shot him a pointed glance. "Mr North, could you cut to the chase here?"

Pernell seemed to realise he was rambling. "Oh sorry," he said, "When this episode airs on TV, Jimmy, we'll let all veiwers see the Chin battle the Iron Lungs."

Jimmy visibly relaxed, he and Pernell got along very well. They were both great actors and had both won emmys for their roles on the show and they were always full of energy and boisterousness.

As he left the set to go to his dressing room, Pernell was alarmed to see it closed. He tugged at the door and peered in the window, dust covered the tables and chairs, it looked as if it had been shut for some time.

"Hello?" he called squinting in the darkness.

"Pernell?" a familiar voice asked.

"Gordon McKenzie?" Pernell asked lowering his hands.

"The Bronze Kneecap out of character and in person." The sound came from a shadow moving against the wall of the bar.

"Have you seen my dressing room key?" Pernell asked relaxed now but confused as to what the actor who played the Crimson Chin's arch nemesis was doing.

"Sure," came the reply. "It's in my jacket pocket and here it is."

"Thanks, Gordon." Pernell replied with a grin.

The shadow began to emerge and the brown haired actor stepped forward his hand outstretched. The Hood stopped manipulating his voice and stepped in front of the actor himself.

"Good to see you, Mr North." He said grabbing the man's arm in a vice- like grip. Pernell realised too late that he'd been tricked. By the time it dawned on him, he was already looking into his eyes.

Black and white swirls spun before his eyes as he felt himself become immobilised, unable to look away. "Help me!" he silently willed for International Rescue. That was his last free conscious thought.

"You're mine now." The Hood growled menacingly and everything faded to black as he dragged the actor out of his dressing room while Jimmy and Gordon watched.

"Gordon," Jimmy yelled. "Call International Rescue, Mr North's been kidnapped."

And Gordon McKenzie had done so.

Chapter 2- The Crimson Chin's Been Kidnapped?

As soon as 14 year old Alan Tracy was in the lounge, his 20 year old brother Virgil ushered their 18 year old brother Gordon over to his left side as the blond sat on the couch between Gordon and their 24 year old brother Scott and were all watching Scott's favorite superhero TV show the Crimson Chin.

They stared at the Chin's arch nemesis the Bronze Kneecap on the TV who told reporter Lisa Lee, "Pity, Miss Lee, you won't be around to see the rest of my master plan."

"The Crimson Chin hasn't retired yet, Bronze Kneecap." Lisa said. The rest of the danger scene was interupted with the "Surrender, Evil Doer" cry of the Crimson Chin.

"Yes, the Chin's gonna save Lisa." Scott yelled ad the others cheered.

"Wow." Gordon yelled and hugged Scott. Virgil saw what happened as Cleft the boy chin wonder and the Crimson Chin kicked the Bronze Kneecap's butt and freed Lisa.

"C.C, I'm glad we saved Lisa's butt." said Cleft as Lisa hugged the Crimson Chin and kissed him.

Virgil heard the beeping from Jeff's office and the boys went to find out what all the commotion was about.

"Boys, do you watch the Crimson Chin?" Jeff asked as the boys began to sit down.

"We sure do, Dad." Virgil answered as he looked at Jeff.

"Well, the actor who plays him, Pernell North, has been kidnapped by the one person who'd want to get rid of us." Jeff told them.

"I don't believe it." Scott said as he slowly blinked his eyes that many women had called "killer blue eyes," though he and his family did wonder if he would be as handsome if his father were middle-classed. While still trying to get his cooperative eyes to focus, he tried with his other senses to figure out why the one man who wanted Alan dead would kidnap the Crimson Chin.

"We need to save Mr North before it's too late." Gordon replied, he and his brothers knew who the actor who played their favorite superhero on TV was. The Hood on the other hand knew that International Rescue was in fact the Tracy family. Only a few people were privileged with that info and only one knew it that would do this.

"Hood, right?" Alan asked and Jeff nodded as he sent the boys to their Thunderbirds to save Pernell who was Scott's favorite actor.

Chapter 3- Lights, Camera, International Rescue

As the boys arrived on the set of the Crimson Chin, Virgil glanced around as he saw the silver shine on the back of Gordon McKenzie’s hand; the dark haired actor covered his hand and turned around.

"Gordon, you better tell them." Jimmy said.

"Why?" McKenzie asked in a very low voice.

"Because they need your help and you need theirs." said Thomas.

"I don’t need these guys..."

"Mr McKenzie..."

Jeff got beside him and laid his hands on his shoulders

"We'll help you," he told McKenzie. "you can trust me and the boys."

McKenzie sighed.

"Okay... and first of all I’m sorry... I know you may be wondering about this, so I’ll tell you what happened...."

FLASHBACK: THE PREVIOUS EVENING

END OF FLASHBACK

"When we heard about the abduction, we called you guys, unfortunately, we didn't find the guy who kidnapped Mr North, Mr Henderson found a ransom note written by a guy called the Hood, Mr McKenzie was attacked and his hand was rebuilt using state of the art technology." Jimmy added.

Gordon walked to his namesake who was crying silently.

"Yo, Mr McKenzie...?"

"I failed you, Pernell..."

"No you didn’t..."

"How can you tell? I was always on the looks, making sure Pernell's all right... and... I failed to notice that plot... I deserved to be kidnapped, not him..."

"Look, you didn’t fail him, what you have to do is honor him by pretending to be the Crimson Chin."

McKenzie glared at his redheaded namesake.

"Even though I yelled at you guys when you got here, you're willing to forgive me?"

Gordon smiled and hugged him.

"We sure are."

"Then we've gotta get ready to save Mr North." Alan said.

"More good news, Jimmy, Mr North's agent's a Okay, she just got a few bruises." Scott announced.

Meanwhile at the Hood's Malaysian hideout, Pernell woke up feeling dizzy.

"Where... am I..."

He noticed that he was chained to a wall.

"You’re really a pest, you know, Mr North?" the same male voice he heard before falling asleep said.

"Who are you?"

"Oh come on... don’t you remember me? I am known as the Hood... and I watn to know your secret identity, Crimson Chin and this time, I’ll make sure nothing of you's left to save."

He thinks I’m someone else... but wh... oh no... the voice... he thinks I’m the Crimson Chin. Pernell thought

Meanwhile on the set of the Crimson Chin, Gordon and Scott helped Jimmy get ready, the triming on his IR uniform was orange.

"I love the color of your uniform, Jimmy." Gordon said.

"Thanks, Gordon."

"Okay, let’s checklist: light saber, jet backpack, watch computer, x-ray sunglasses, master-key pen and your very own comm-watch.

Jimmy took what seemed to be a book out of his backpack.

"What do you need that book for?" asked Scott.

For any answer, Jimmy opened the book and Virgil gazed at it as instead of pages it had buttons on one side and a screen on the other.

"This book was a gift from my agent... I haven’t used it since I got my laptop but... I've got the feeling I’ll need it now more than ever."

"We're ready." Virgil announced. "Pernell's Jimmy's friend and co-star but we have to help him."

Seconds later, the boys went in Thunderbirds 1 and 2 with Jeff, McKenzie and Jimmy.

Chapter 4- The Rescuers and the Boy Chin Wonder

Jimmy and the boys carried on searching for Pernell as qucikly as they could until Scott continually glancing over his shoulder. Somebody was still following them.

“Look, there is something, I can tell, now what is it?” Jimmyy asked as they walked past an alleyway.

Scott was about to answer him when he saw someone in the dark alley beside him. His eyes went wide as he was pulled roughly out of Thunderbird 1 and the person that had been following them pushed the others after him.

“What’s going on?” Scott asked as he felt himself being pushed.

“Silence and do as I say, Boy chin wonder!” a voice said. Scott frowned, he’d recognised the voice but couldn’t picture whom it belonged to as they all walked along a hallway. “Now, get into that cell!”

Alan stood there scared for their lives. “What do you want with us?”

“Just get in or I’ll make you get in! I’m sure you don’t want any harm to come to you people, your father and the Crimson Chin!”

Jimmy's eyes went wide and he went into the cell and was closely followed by the boys. Alan sat down and huddled close to Gordon and Virgil, tears running down his face.

“Cool it, Al,” Gordon said putting his arms round Alan. “You’ll be okay, we'll all be okay.”

Jimmy looked at Gordon and smiled weakly. “He’s scared, Gordon.”

Three men and a woman stood outside the cell, two of the men were guards, the woman was a female version of Brains and the third looked very familiar to the brothers Tracy. The man, who they reckongised as the Hood, pulled on Jimmy’s shoulder and he spun round unwillingly then he used a sleeping spell on him and he quickly passed out.

“This is between us now, Boys.”

“How do you know us, who are you?” Virgil asked, discreetly activating the emergency call sign on his watch.

“I know a great deal about you, your family and your friend here.” He indicated the still form between them. “Wouldn’t it be a shame if anything happened to Cleft the Boy Chin Wonder?”

“You harm her and I’ll…”

“You’ll what? In case you hadn’t noticed, Cleft is between us. You boys try anything and I’ll be able to sort him quicker than you can imagine!”

Pernell saw them narrowed his eyes. “What do you want with us?”

“I happen to know your line of work, my friend.”

“I am not your friend.”

“Doesn’t matter either way. I know the Tracy brothers work for International Rescue." The Hood glanced at Alan and said "We’ve met before, too, Alan.”

“What do you want?” Alan snarled through gritted teeth.

“Oh, it’s a small favour. All you have to do is agree to our terms and you can all walk free. Disagree and… well, let’s just say you won’t need those toys Daddy gave you.”

Scott felt as though he had been stabbed in the heart. “What favour?”

“Tell me where your father is!”

Back at Dimmsdale Studios, Jeff was sat behind Thomas's desk with a group of children who were waiting to see the taping of the latest Crimson Chin episode when suddenly his cell phone ran.

Jeff frowned. “Oh no, something’s wrong!” He answered his phone and on listening, he heard Scott talking to somebody. “Jeff Tracy here.”

“Hello, Jeff, remember me?” the voice on the other end asked.

“The Hood!” Jeff snapped urgently. “What do you want this time?”

The children and Thomas stopped and listened to the conversation.

“Oh, it’s a small favour. All you have to do is agree to our terms and you can all walk free. Disagree and… well, let’s just say you won’t need those toys Daddy gave you.”

“What favour?”

“Tell me where your father is!”

Jeff heard the Hood's chilling voice. “Speak with respect, Jefferson! Not only do have the Crimson Chin, I also have four of your five sons and Cleft the Boy Chin Wonder.” The children saw Jeff get up and gasp as he heard Scott's voice. “Cool it, Dad, we’ll be fine!”

After he finished his call to Jeff, the Hood had locked the cell door and, with a gun jabbed into his back, led Scott through the corridors while Mullion and the other guard stood guard of the cell. They reached what looked like the Hood's office. Transom sat Scott down in a chair and began working on tying him to it. Transom seemed unsure of how to go about the task due to his top physical condition. It pained Scott to feel the pain in his neck.

The Hood jabbed the gun at him again. “Right, are you going to tell me yet?”

Scott stopped to think for a moment, what should he do? He tried hard to think what his father would do when he heard a faint tapping noise coming from his watch. The codes, he thought. He listened closely for a moment longer and translated in his mind what they were telling him to do. Call us in the pretence of calling for someone to give him what he wants. Dad'll help you. Don’t panic.

He smiled discreetly. “Do you have a cellphone of your own? I can call someone out who knows more than I do.”

The Hood glared at him then his expression softened into an evil smile. “What a good idea. I do have your own cellphone. You're a sensible young man, Scott.”

Transom took the cellphone out of Scott's left pants pocket, activated it and put it towards Scott's face. “This is Scott Tracy calling International Rescue.” Scott knew all too well that there were tightly done up ropes round his feet and binding his hands behind his back.

Transom slapped him across the face when she saw him looking at her cleavege. Stupid mistake, he thought to himself. The Hood walked over and pointed his gun at Scott.

“What are you doing?” he asked.

“Nothing, honestly. I was trying to get comfortable. Do you know what it’s like to be the oldest son of a billionare ex-astronaut and being kidnapped by a butthead?”

“Well, no, I don’t!” the Hood said, confusion creeping into his voice.

“Of course you don’t. By the way, can you press the button on my watch and check it’s still working for me?” Scott said, trying not to let the worry he felt come through into his voice.

The Hood glared at him then wandered behind him and pressed the button. Now Dad and John can hear what’s said, he thought. “Thanks, Bald dude. While you’re there, d’you think you could loosen the ropes, just a little bit?” he asked, turning to look at him.

Transom looked at him then her expression hardened. “What do you take me for?”

“What am I gonna do? Run away?” He indicated his legs with a nod of his head.

Transom looked through the door to where Scott and the Hood were talking then looked back. “If you get caught, that’s you dead!” The Hood walked round behind Scott and loosened the ropes. Scott grinned to himself, hiding the expression when he came back in front of him.

“Thanks. I feel a lot more comfy now,” he said, moving his hands behind his back. “I don’t suppose you could get me a soda, could you?”

The Hood frowned again and Scott raised an eyebrow. “Transom, do as the young man says.” he said reluctantly.

He watched her go then pressed a signal button to let John know he was alone then spoke, not too loudly, but loud enough for the tiny microphone in his watch to pick up his words.

“Yo, John? Please say you can hear me?”

“It’s okay, I can hear you. I’ve been listening. Are you okay?”

“Well apart from being scared for my life, yeah, I’m fine.”

“You’ll be alright; Dad said he'll be on his way with a few kids from Dimmsdale Elementary. They should be with you soon.”

“I hope so,” he said. He screwed his eyes shut as he felt a twinge of pain. “Oh crud. Not now!”

“What’s wrong?”

“I think I’m gonna puke!”

Jeff and the kids walked in, his gun obvious in his holster. “Right. I’m here to talk to you. I’ll tell you all you want to know, but only if you free Pernell, Jimmy and my sons first.” he told Mullion.

“I'll free them after you've proven you know who the Crimson Chin really is.” said Mullion ready to pounce of Jeff.

This is what they had prepared for; they didn’t think he’d release them unconditionally. While he continued to barter for his comic book hero’s release, 10 year old Timmy Turner was slipping quietly into the other side of the room via another entrance he and his friends Chester and A.J had found. He and Jeff hid behind a crate of books and observed Scott for a moment. He didn’t look too good and wasn’t alone.
He saw Jeff remove his gun from his holster and took aim at the person guarding him then fired. Transom fell silently to the floor and Scott looked round.

“Dad!” he whispered urgently, his expression tense.

He ran over quietly. “It’s okay, Scott. I’m here to get you out.”

“Hey, Kid! Am I glad to see you!” Scott said as he saw Timmy.

“Actually, dude, my name's Timmy, Timmy Turner!” Timmy told Scott.

“Where are your brothers, Jimmy and Pernell?” Jeff asked.

“They're in cell block no. 9!” Scott said as Jeff pulled his oldest son to his feet.

“Right, We can find Alan, Jimmy, Gordon, Virgil and Pernell and get you all out of here undetected then back to Thunderbird 2.” Jeff told Scott.

“That’s better than here! Thanks, Dad!” Scott replied.

Gordon looked at Jimmy uneasily. It was clear the Tracys had little idea of what to do so he and Virgil both hauled him to his feet.

“Release us or I tell you nothing, evildoer.” said Pernell to Mullion.

“You're tough, Crimson Chin, I’m impressed. But it won’t do you any good. I'm going to kick your butt.” Mullion snapped.

“Then let us out then, Dude." Gordon said.

"Yeah, we won’t say a word until our dad knows we’re okay.” Virgil told the guards.

The guard narrowed his eyes. “I can see we're going to make little progress, so we'll be fair. I'll let you guys out, then you'll talk.” He turned to the door and unlocked it and there, behind him and Mullion, were Jeff, A.J, Chester, Scott and Timmy.

"Serves you right, Dudes." Alan said chuckling.
