Is it really fair that Janet gets the blame and is faulted for the Superbowl incident? Justin doesn't get all this blame and even throws more fire at her! It was HE that ripped off her outfit, exposing her breast. And it was only shown for about 5 seconds or less! Justin needs to be slapped! It was his fault too. How dare he join the critisizers. Justin even said, "I didn't want to do it. She made me." What a no taking responsibility, irresponsible, hyprocritical, selfish SLOB! :(

They both helped plan it. janet doesn't seem to be talking about it while justin is making the biggest jackass out of himself by telling the whole media how it "wasn't his fault". and now i see he's an even bigger one than i thought. He really said "I didn't want to do it. She made me."? But she MAAAAAAADE ME! what the hell kind of a pitiful lame ass excuse is that? let alone at the grammies he said it was "unintentional, unplanned and unrehearsed." god, i don't think anyone is stupid enough to believe either excuse, namely being that they contradict eachother.

I always found it strange that she just "happened" to be wearing a pastie(or nipple jewelry) that day! How convenient! Or does she always wear them?:Yeah, I am sure that she had no idea what was going to happen!

but the point is that people are still constantly talking about it. It's been on at least two shocking countdowns on two different networks, and people are still putting all the blame on her.:(

She deserves to be blamed because she helped plan it and she's at fault too:rolleyes:

Yes, but like over 85% of the blame is going to her. Is that fair?:(

No, they should both share the blame!
And Justin Timberdork should grow a spine!

Justin also should have the ***** to ADMIT that BOTH have guilt and share it like a man.
I really don't know why you rack your brain with stuff that happened a long time ago and that NO ONE cares about

They really should be ashamed of what they did. it's not the goddamn MTV movie awards. i hate this ****ty generation so much. people are going to look down to that event decades from now. what an embarrassment.

Jante's little stunt did get her a lot of attention, but not the kind of attention that lead to increased album sales.

Janet Jackson got the brunt of the blame for this simple reason - a black woman will receive the kind of negative backlash over a backfiring publicity stunt that no white man will ever be subjected to (unless the Kiss solo albums are involved). That said, I'm not shedding tears for Janet or Justin. They knew what they were doing. They just didn't know it wouldn't work out the way they planned it.

And there's another lesson for you. Some things turn out

VERY DIFFERENTLY

than the way you expect them to! :p

Want sports without the halftime shows? Tune into the MLS Cup next year - maybe the MetroStars will win this time! :)
