At the end of Scrubs on Tuesday night (12/7) they played a song that sounded like "Please Please Me" by The Beatles but the words were from "Joy to the World." I thought it was a really cool tune and done extremely well.

I did a little searching and found out that it is a cover band that has a few albums one of which is "Christmas With the Fab Four: Ultimate Tribute," in which they do the same blending of Christmas carols and Beatles songs.

Anyone have this cd?

Here is a link to a page that has a download of the Fab Four (doing Hark The Herald Angels Sing to "Help") and also another band using Please Please Me with Jingle Bell Rock:

I downloaded a few tracks from it. It was actually recommended to me last night by a friend. I might pick it up next time I have disposable cash.

Traditional Christmas songs set to the music of Lennon and McCartney? How did they fit it?

These guys are local. I've actually seen them live dozens of times and used to be a writer for their website.

I recommend both of their Xmas albums.
