Ah, one of the old Metromedia stations -- "Too Close for Comfort", "Fame", "Merv Griffin", and "Thicke of the Night" are the giveaways. Bet they got "Dynasty" reruns in the fall of 1985.

20th Century Fox eventually bought the Metromedia station group and used it as the cornerstone of the Fox network.

Bravo!!!!

I remember KTTV's two nights off-the-air was late Sunday/early Monday, late Monday/early Tuesday and the rest of the week it was 24 hours a day. Oh, yes, "I Love Lucy" was on against "What's My Line?" on KHJ-TV* in the early-mid 1970's at 7:00pm and KTLA had a Polka music show or "The Steve Allen Show" on the same time slot.

*KHJ-TV's now KCAL-TV.

Thanks for posting this, nice to see how KTTV was before Fox. I remember watching "Jetsons" at that timeslot during the late 80s/ early 90s.

OMG, I think you are the only person I know who remembers Wonderama! It used to come on Sundays right? Bob McAllistar was the host.

These lists have brought back so many memories.

It was a better lineup than TVLand.

Thanks for posting this.

And I remember "boss radio," too. 93 KHJ. I still have some of those "Top 30" lists they printed every week from 1965-1980; my oldest is from June, 1972.

Cool schedule, nothing like it is now. The Jetsons moved to KCOP by the time new epsiodes were made in 1987, and the Flintstones moved to KCAL by the early 1990s. Entertainment Tonight moved to KNBC by 1986, Brady Bunch moved to KTLA by the end of the 1980s, and Soul Train also moved to KTLA in 1991. The only staples in that lineup that are still on the schedule to this day (other than the news, of course) are I Love Lucy and M*A*S*H.

KTTV was a lot watchable back in the day.

I remember watching Bugs Bunny, Woody Woodpecker, The Flintstones, and The Jetsons in the mornings and the afternoons and the sitcom lineup from 5-7.

You took me back to a time when it was considered to me a wondeful time.

Thank You.

It was da bomb station. Growing up here in So. Cali, that station had such an awesome line-up. I miss those line-ups.
