Eight Simple Rules
Season Three
Episodes (after episode 61)

Ep62: Grandpa's Got A Girl:
Jim begins to date Jackie (Raquel Welch), as Cate gives in and goes out with Coach Scott (Dan Cortese) without the kids knowing. Kerry sets CJ on a blind date with a co-worker of hers.

Ep63: Blind Dates:
CJ and his blind date, Julie (Rachel Blanchard) become 'soul-mates' after their first date. Bridget and Kyle most work together on a school project, Kyle soon develops old feelings for Bridget again-much to Kerry's dismay. Rory sees Jackie sneaking out early in the morning (after an all-nighter in Jim's bedroom).

Ep64: A Little Bonding:
Jim, CJ, and Rory get locked in the Hennessy garage, while Cate takes herself, Kerry, and Bridget to Chicago on their annual Christmas shopping trip. The men are forced to huddle for warmth and end up sharing their love-life stories (Since Jim is with Jackie, CJ is with Julie, and Rory is with Missy).

Ep65: Romancing The Cousin:
Julie turns to Kerry for advice on how to make sure CJ really likes her. Kerry feels odd when she gives advice on how to seduce her own cousin. Bridget is asked by Kyle, Bridget says yes, not realizing it is a "real date". Cate feels Jim is getting too serious with Jackie, Jim is upset with Cate.

Ep66: A Shock To Everyone:
CJ and Julie surprise the whole family, by their news of being engaged. Julie tells Kerry that she has to move back to Indiana (her home state) with CJ in order to get married near her family. Cate, Jim, and the kids fear they will miss CJ as he plans to move to Indiana with Julie. Bridget learns she is accepted to a communitiy college (for cosmetology), she soon changes her mind of going away to an expensive school to go to the cheaper community college and still live at home. CJ says his good-byes to the family before he leaves.
{last episode with david spade as a regular, he will make guest appearances in later episodes though}

Ep67: Hennessy Women And Their Boyfriends:
As Bridget learns Kyle wants to become boyfriend-girlfriend with her again, Cate comes clean to Jim and the kids about her relationship with Coach Scott. Bridget accepts Kyle's offer, and they become boyfriend and girlfriend. Kerry is uneasy about her sister going out with her ex-boyfriend, until Bridget reminds her that Kyle was going out with her first, before Kerry "stole" him from her. Kerry soon changes her view on the situation.

Ep68: Jim Asks Jackie:
Jim asks Jackie to move in with him. Cate is strongly against the idea, but after a serious talk with him and Jackie, she allows it. Bridget feels Coach Scott is giving her special attention on the team, due to the fact he is dating her mom. Coach Scott explains that isn't true and that Bridget truly is the best player on the whole team. Kerry and Kyle try to hangout together for the first time since they broke up. Rory and Missy discuss the issue of "having sex or waiting", which makes them both awkwardly uncomfortable--they soon decide to wait.

Ep69: CJ's Wedding:
Cate, Jim, Bridget, Kerry, Rory, Jackie, and Coach Scott go to Indiana to attend CJ and Julie's wedding. Rory is sudden "in awe" of Julie's gorgeous bridesmaids, as Bridget and Kerry are hurt that they weren't asked to be part of the wedding party. Cate and Jim are angry that CJ didn't invite his recently-divorced (again) mom, Maggie (not shown, but played by Cybill Shepperd).

Ep70: Guidance Counselor:
Bridget is asked to see her guidance counselor about college information. Bridget soon learns her guidance counselor, Ms. Marcia Klein (Marcia Cross) just so happens to be Jackie's daughter from her first marriage. Jim and Jackie plan to have a dinner with Cate, Coach Scott, Kerry, Rory, Bridget, and Marcia Klein. Bridget feels odd with having "Marcia" (not Ms. Klein) around and "added" to her family.

Ep71: Your Mom and My Dad:
Cate and Marcia have a serious talk about Jim and Jackie moving in together. Marcia and Cate are shocked when Jim and Jackie announce they are newly engaged. Bridget, Kyle, and Kerry go to a club and get busted with fake IDs, but Bridget insists on flirting her way out of a fine--which doesn't work out to her plan.

Ep72: Bridget's Bad Decision: Part One
Bridget, Kyle, and Kerry all attend this college party at a frat house. The three teens drink and have a good time, yet Bridget has a little too much and gets a little out of hand. After getting into a fight with Kyle and Kerry, an upset and drunk Bridget takes her keys and drives home. On the way home, her vision becomes bad and she hits a parked car, then blacks out. No one was hurt, except for bumps and bruises (and minor cuts).

Ep73: Bridget's Bad Decision: Part Two
Cate is awoken in the middle of the night by the call from the hospital, explaining that Bridget's in the hospital. Cate, Jim, and Rory arrive at the hospital to see Bridget, Bridget realizes she is in trouble after the doctor explains the event to Cate. A now-sobered Kyle and Kerry arrive at the hospital to be with Rory, Jim, Cate, and Bridget. Cate is furious with Bridget and is very disappointed in her for drinking and driving.

Ep74: Jackie And Jim's Talk:
Jackie and Jim have a talk, resulting in a broken engagement. Jackie tells Jim she isn't ready for another marriage. Jim and Jackie still continue to date, as Jackie decides to move out and back into her old house with daughter, Marcia (Marcia Cross). Bridget gets her license taken away for 6 months due to her drinking and driving accident.

Ep75: Lost Scholarship:
Bridget loses her scholarship and must decide if she can afford to go to college without it or not. Cate and Coach Scott debate about kicking her off the tennis team, which would break her heart dearly (they don't kick her off in the end). Missy tells Rory she is ready to have sex, a thrilled yet scared Rory agrees to have sex.

Ep76: Bruno's Return:
Kerry's fling in Europe, Bruno, returns with news of wanting Kerry back. Kerry is unsure of what to do, she soon learns Bruno just wants her back for more sex. Coach Scott overhears Rory bragging about having sex to his friends. Coach Scott talks with Rory about him having sex at the age of 15. Bridget apologizes to her family and Kyle for putting them through alot when she was in that accident.

Ep77: Tough Love:
Jim spots Jackie with a younger, hunkier man at a restuarant eating together. Jim gets his heart broken. Jim receives a call from his ex, Laura-with that in mind, old feelings for Laura arrive. Kerry walks in on Bridget and Kyle making out and can't seem to get the 'mental picture' out of her head. Cate and the kids soon learn that Jim is flying to Florida and wants to reconcile with his ex-wife for the second time.

Ep78: When Coach Turns To "Daddy":
In hope of cheering a depressed Cate (who misses her dad), Coach Scott proposes to her. Cate accepts, then is worried how the kids will take it. Bridget, Kerry, and Rory surpringly accept the engagement quite well. Rory thinks Missy is cheating on him with her old boyfriend (before him). Kyle learns his older brother, Chris (the druggie) is back and wants to move in with Kyle. Kyle lets Chris (Chris von Detten) move back in with him.

Ep79: To Move In or Not:
Cate ponders letting Scott move in with her and the kids, as Bridget ponders moving in with Kyle and his new roommate/brother, Chris. Kerry gets a bad vibe from Chris, after she swears he has something up his sleeve. (Bridget stays put with her current living arrangement, as Coach Scott moves in with the Hennessys.)

Ep80: Graduation Blues:
It's Bridget and Kyle's graduation day. Cate, Scott, Kerry, Rory, and others attend the ceremony. Bridget and Kyle both decide to attend local community colleges (Bridget for cosmetology, Kyle for auto tech). Cate and Scott plan a date for their wedding --- June 14th, 2006 (june 14th-because that was paul's birthday).

SEASON FOUR EPISODES


Ep81: Back To School:
Kerry begins her senior year, as Rory and Missy start sophmore year. Rory gets in trouble for picking on a helplessly lost freshman boy in the hallway. Missy feels Rory was a total jerk to the freshman as Rory claims he was just kidding.

Ep82: Late Starts:
Kyle and Bridget start their college classes. Kyle's car runs out of gas on his way to school and comes late to class and is completely lost. Bridget makes a decision to move out of the house and into Kyle's apartment, after Chris (chris von detten) [kyle's loser brother] packs up and leaves one night without saying bye (or thank you) to Kyle.

Ep83: Bridget's Little Lies:
Bridget tells her mom that she is sleeping in Kyle's spare bedroom, as she lies and is actually sleeping in bed with Kyle. Kyle and Bridget's hormones get the best of them one night and the two teens engage in having sex. Kerry becomes Senior Class President, but is worried that she won't 'up-stage' Bridget when she was class president last year.

Ep84: Engagement Dinner:
Cate and Scott take Rory, Kerry, Bridget, and Kyle out for dinner to celebrate the engagement, but Coach Scott and the Hennessys bump into Scott's ex-girlfriend, Heather (Amy Smart). Cate immediately becomes jealous of how young and pretty Heather is, until Scott confesses he truly loves Cate with all his heart. Bridget seems to have caught the stomach flu.

Ep85: BING-Uh Oh:
Cate, Coach Scott, Rory, and Kerry go to BINGO night. Rory wins, but has to split it with a greedy old lady. Meanwhile, Bridget learns she has no stomach flu and that she is just 3 weeks pregnant (with Kyle's baby). Bridget hestitates, but in the end, tells Kyle that she is pregnant and he is the father. Kyle is as stunned as Bridget is.

Ep86: Telling The Family:
Bridget and Kyle tell Cate, Kerry, Rory, and Coach Scott that they are having a baby. Cate is speechless, Kerry and Rory are stunned. Bridget tells them she wants to keep it, which is a load off Cate's back. Cate and Bridget have a serios heart-to-heart chat. Kyle is awkwardly left in the room with Rory, Kerry, and Coach Scott.

Ep87: Today Is A New Day:
Cate drags Bridget to the hospital for a series of pregnancy tests and a paternal test to see if Kyle really is the father of the unborn baby. Coach Scott takes Rory with him to a Lions-Packers football game, the two men bond. Kerry gets fired from her job at the food court after showing up 10 minutes late two days in a row.

Ep88: Hunting For Cash:
Kerry hunts for a job when she becomes in need of cash for a concert. Bridget and Kyle both look for jobs to support themselves and their kid. Cate and Coach Scott call their parents (cate's in florida, scott's in california) to tell them their news.

Ep89: Rumors Or Truth?:
Kerry and Rory learn that the word of Bridget being pregnant with Kyle's child has spread all over their high school. Kerry and Rory defend Bridget as some people call her a 'slut'. Kyle goes with Bridget to their first doctor's appointment together, but Cate begs Bridget to let her listen in on the appointment-much to her dismay.

Ep90: Detentions:
Kerry gets a detention, after getting into a girl-on-girl brawl int he hallway during school, after the other girl was talking trash about Bridget being pregnant and Kerry just snapped. Cate is disappointed in her (yet secretly proud of her). Bridget is amazed and proud of her sister. Rory sees Missy holding another guy's hand after school. Rory becomes heart-broken, after seeing Rory depressed and sad, Kerry and Bridget decide to have "little chat" with Missy in person.

Ep91: Sweet November:
It's another Hennessy Thanksgiving. Coach Scott and Cate host Thanksgiving at their home with Rory, Kerry, Bridget, Kyle, and Coach Scott's visiting parents- Pete and Ruth McCallister (Gerald McRaney, Dixie Carter). Ruth and Pete meet Cate and the kids for the first time. Bridget tries to hid her pregnancy after thinking it may bring up contraversy during Scott's parents' visit. Yet, Scott spills the beans, after Bridget calmly excuses herself as her morning sickness fires up big time (after smelling the delicious turkey). Scott's parents handle the teen pregnancy very well [as they handled Scott's younger sister's teen pregnancy years ago].

Ep92: Blue Diamond Resort:
Bridget gets hired at the Blue Diamond Resort, as receptionist. Bridget learns the pay is higher than she first thought. Cate and Kerry battle Coach Scott and Rory in a game of battle of the sexes. Kyle soon feels inferior as Bridget makes more than him, but he soon gets over it.

Ep93: Happy Birthday:
It's Cate's Birthday. Coach Scott, Kyle, and the kids plan a surprise party for Cate. Yet, Scott's younger sister, Trisha (Sarah Jessica Parker) pays an unexpectant visit. [Trisha is Scott's sister who had a teen pregnancy]. Trisha drops the news to Scott that she is divorcing her husband of 5 years and leaving their 10 years son with his father, Scott thinks Trisha is completely crazy for throwing away her life and running from her marital problems (instead of fixing them).

Ep94: Lamaze Classes, Here We Go:
Bridget and Kyle go to lamaze classes. Bridget is befriended by two single mothers who are as pregnant as Bridget. Bridget starts a friendship with the pregnant women, Tori (Kimberly Williams-Paisely) and Kelly (Kelly Ripa). Cate gets a call from her parents announcing they are back together and Cate is happy for them, as are the rest of the family.

Ep95: Feminism Lives On:
After hanging out with Tori and Kelly lately, Bridget starts feeling "there is no man out there that will ever make her 100% happy". Kyle hears this and is upset, and comes to Kerry for support. Kerry, with Cate's help, has a talk with Bridget about how Kyle is trying to be there with her as she has been backing off lately.

Ep96: Sorry For Backing Away:
Bridget apologizes to Kyle for backing away, Kyle forgives Bridget. With their wedding day soon approaching, Cate and Scott are anxiously awaiting the day, yet the financial part frightens them to death. Rory decides to break up with Missy, who has been secretly (yet not-so-secretly) dating her ex at the same time).

Ep97: Valentine's Day Drama:
Rory begins to miss Missy during the week of Valentine's Day. Kerry asks out her new crush, but he tells her that he is going out with someone already. Kerry and Rory spend Valentine's Day moping around the house, as Cate and Scott go out dancing. Cate soon learns Scott claims "he can't dance", yet he turns out to be a great dancer.

Ep98: Girl or Boy?:
Bridget and Kyle debate if they really want to know the gender of their unborn child. They go back and forth with it for weeks. Dr. Martinson (Catherine Hicks) knows the sex and is willing to tell the parents. Kyle and Bridget tell each other they don't want to know, yet they each separately give the doctor a call to know the gender. Bridget and Kyle are having a son! Rory gets his license, Kerry gives in and lets Rory drive her to her new job. Kerry soon learns she is scared to death with having Rory drive her.

Ep99: Getting Accepted:
Kerry receives an acceptance letter from Michigan State University. Bridget's morning sickness increases as she enters her third trimester of her pregnancy. Cate and Scott discuss having a bachelor and bachelorette party or not. They soon decide to let the other have a little fun and have a bachelor/bachelorette party.

Ep100: Party-Goers:
Scott, Kyle, Rory, and other men go to a strip club for Scott's bachelor party. Cate, Bridget, Kerry, and other women go to a club to have fun. Bridget can't enjoy the fun due to having gained 20 extra pounds and feeling obese. At last minute, CJ returns in time to attend Scott's bachelor party. After all the fun and as everyone leaves and goes to bed, Cate sits in the kitchen talking to Paul (up in heaven).
*A sappy ending, but it is all good afterall*

Ep101: Hormones Going Crazy:
Bridget's hormones are too much for her to handle, so she is snapping at everyone-her family, friends, and Kyle. Dr. Martinson (Catherine Hicks) has Bridget come in alone for their final meeting 2 weeks before she is due to give birth. Cate calls her sister, Maggie to be her maid of honor in her wedding.

Ep102: Baby Names:
Cate, Scott, Rory, and Kerry help Kyle and Bridget with choosing a good baby name for their unborn son. Cate gets a huge raise in pay (double her old salary).

Ep103: Kerry's Big Day:
Kerry's graduation is here. The family throws her a party and Kerry is eagerly ready to graduate and go onto college in the Fall (at Michigan State University). Scott's visiting sister, Trisha (Sarah Jessica Parker)-is asked by Scott and Cate-to talk to Bridget about having a baby at age 19, like she did.

Ep104: The Wedding Baby: Part One
Cate and Scott's wedding day is finally here. They have Maggie (Cybill Shepperd) as the maid of honor, as Kerry and very pregnant Bridget as bridesmaids, Scott's cousin as best man, and Rory and Kyle as groomsmen. During the reception, Bridget's water breaks and is rushed to the hospital with Kyle and Cate by her sides (as Scott, Kerry, and Rory stay back at the reception cleaning up).

Ep105: The Wedding Baby: Part Two
Scott, Kerry, and Rory arrive to the hospital to accompany an anxious Cate, as Kyle is helping coach Bridget give birth to their son. She gives birth to a healthy and beautiful baby boy. They decide to name him: Logan Paul Hennessy-Becker. Cate, Scott, Kerry, and Rory get to see Bridget, Kyle, and Logan. Kyle takes Cate and Scott aside and asks for Bridget's hand in marriage. They give their consent, yet are secretly anxious to see Bridget's response. Kyle asks her to marry him a day later after giving birth- she says yes.
